It smells like sandalwood or cedarwood with a hint of vanilla and amber. It is a very manly and clean scent. This leaves a little bit of oil behind for your hair but not enough to be overpowering or to clog any pores. I actually find that I have less blackheads and zits now than when using products specifically for removing them. I guess I just didn’t have enough oil instead of having too much. I use this as a full face wash and not just for my beard and it works great. It has a slightly cooling affect similar to other menthol products but it isn’t very powerful at all on that front. Bought this on Amazon day sale and I have not let my facial hair go ever since. For real. I’m self employed, rarely to never shave fully smooth with a razor, but I prefer trimmers and keeping it groomed. That said, sometimes I would get lazy and look in the mirror and have a beard going all the sudden. I don’t know why, but not since I’ve bought these. I think I find the shave satisfying or stimulating. I know that’s weird to probably hear, but it’s true. It’s so simple. Trimmer will pull on longer stubble going against the grain and the longer your hair, the more times you’ll have to go over the area. But man, it will leave you with a good , even shave in the end and it’s quick and simple I’ve also used on my neck line and sideburns and it does great. Worth the buy, for real. ... show more

I like this more than the natural ones they sell on amazon. It makes my beard detangle, shine, and very smooth. I have a long thick curly beard and while it does not give a hold that is ok because it it makes it look really good and dark. Finally i had few white/yellow hairs in my beard from using natural beard oil daily and switching to this product solved that completely. My beard never been better. Will buy again! ... show more

I have looked far and wide for a decent electric razor I purchased this item on prime day it is not worth $40 alone if you get it on sale well worth it not for 40$ you have to go over the same area maybe four times to get it smooth with the trimmer if not it literally gets stuck in your clothes if you were to wipe your face with a towel it will get caught It’s like you pierced the fabric with your stubble is what I mean you basically trimmed your stubble razor sharp so you got to go over it so many times if you are sensitive I recommend Aveeno lotion like me I have sensitive everything this does not bother my body ... show more

Smells like aftershave... Not unpleasant at all. The scent stays pretty much all day. I wouldn't recommend it for longer beards unless you just like using a lot of fragranced oils. I have a medium beard and a dropper full does the trick with little left behind on my hands. It does leave the beard soft. One thing I noticed though is that it's pretty much soaked in by about 6 hours leaving my beard feeling a little dry. Maybe using a little more than a dropper wouldn't be bad and might make it last a little longer. I would recommend this to men with short to medium beards. I used to have a Philips Norelco one blade, but lost it, so I tried this one out, and it's good! Don't expect a close shave with this, but it shaves down low enough to where it doesn't look like there's facial hair unless you're really close!
