This king-size box spring was exactly what we needed. It arrived well-packaged, and all the parts were clearly labeled. I was a little nervous about assembling something this large, but it was actually really easy — took about 30–40 minutes with just one person, and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, it felt very sturdy with zero creaks or wobbling. We placed our king mattress on top, and the support is excellent — no sagging or uneven spots. It also raised the bed to just the right height, which makes it easier to get in and out of. The fabric cover gave it a clean, finished look, and it fits perfectly on our standard king bed frame. Plus, it’s much lighter and easier to move than a traditional box spring, which is a huge bonus if you’re setting it up upstairs or in a tight space. This items is a metal frame with a cover that you put over it after assembly. Assembly was straightforward, but time-consuming. Cover fit well and it assembled unit feels sturdy and solid. Worked well for my purposes.

The media could not be loaded. This is a bed platform, not a box spring. It will support a mattress (and people) only if it’s placed directly on the floor. Buyers who want to put this on a bed frame to support and elevate their mattress, be ware. Unfortunately, this appears to be designed with ship-ability as the top priority, rather than sturdiness. The center support frame comes in two pieces, out of which the top and bottom frames respectively fold out into two T-shapes that connect to each other on the bottom. Meaning, there is a weak joint right on the center of the product. Where the two T-shaped frame pieces connect, there is no structural connection, just bolts, so there is nothing stopping the middle from sagging, even under the product’s own weight. Let alone a mattress with a person on it. If you want to put this on the floor to raise your mattress 3 inches off the ground, it will work. Otherwise, if you’re planning to put this in a bed frame, I would skip it and look for something else.

Works perfect for what I bought it for. It added stability to the foam mattress (which is supposed to not need a box spring). I wanted firm corners when one sits on the corners of the bed. This provided this and even support throughout the mattress area. It also gives added height to the bed set-up - looks great and more elegant.
