The ad for this has been updated since I got it which involved a few major changes: The weight limit was downgraded from 29lb to 20lb There are no longer three recline positions available Those changes are unfortunate, particularly the reduced weight limit and are the reason for the reduction in stars. I received a different product than advertised. I have a very heavy but still young baby who's pushing the limit of the commonplace 20lb limit bouncers, though this one does seem sturdier than others he's used. That said, as currently advertised it's quite good. The seat without the insert installed is very deep so it can fit a chunky baby with room to spare. The single vertical buckle closure is nice and avoids having to fish around for a second strap at the perimeter or partway through one of the straps. The Velcro cover over the buckle is LOUD though and far too strong considering that it's only there to keep the fabric cover in place. It should be swapped out for something quieter and weaker, particularly given the price of this bouncer. Last, the folding mechanism is very well thought out. It's a very safe design and requires folding the bouncer forwards in order to collapse it. Yes, it has to fold about 290 degrees in order to get it flat and that's a good thing because it means the folding mechanism doesn't take the weight of the baby so it's much stronger. ... show more

The way the seat is made is very secure and safe for a baby. You can fold it up for easy storage and for traveling with. It's great for playtime or feeding. This seat is very sturdy and looks great. The 3 point harness is easy to clip and unclip and is nicely padded. The fabric is skin friendly and wipes clean and it folds for on the go. Perfect for grandparents homes as well because it works well for feeding, play, and is easily stored when not in use.
