Great sturdy product. Comes with box of screws and anchors. There are no instructions to tell you which size bit to use if using the anchors and if need to make pilot holes for installation into wood/composite/concrete.

Modern 4x4's are 3.5x3.5 inches. Therdse supports are 1/16th to 1/8th inch too large in both directions. Sloppy fit! I bought too many to send back, and these supports tarnished and compromised the entire railing project. Do NOT buy!! Terrible fit, otherwise nice.

Awful product. Does not tell you what size anchors are, and anchors are steel finish not black as shown in pics. Now that I tore apart package I guess I'll paint anchors black what a pain.
