I got this set for my granddaughter when she is skating. The elbow and knee pads fir her (she is petite) and they fit a little tight (size small)... I would not recommend to wear these with thick clothing these would be great for the summer time

These pads are amazing. They are a great fit for my 7 year old. The plastic is molded specifically to protect the knees, elbows and wrists. The wrist guard even protects the pads on your hand when you reach out if you are falling. The wrist guards are L and R so once you figure that out they are easy to put on. They do not itch or irritate my son so they are a great addition to anything on wheels that he wants to do like roller blading and hover board. ... show more

I am pleasantly surprised by this protection gear. They are adjustable and will fit/secure well with most kids. The knee pads did a really good job after some falls. Definitely avoided some scrapes he would have gotten if he didn't have his knee pads on. They are well made and sturdy and best of all he doesn't seem to mind wearing them!
