Easy to put together: 10 parts, including hardware. Takes about 15 minutes to put both stools together, including disposing of the packaging. The instructions are easy to follow Seats are made of plastic, so they will get hot and sticky in hot weather The white gloves are made of a stretchy material, so they fit larger hands My counter top measures 45 1/2 inches, and my arms DO NOT rest at a 90 degrees angle when I sit on the stool, so the chairs are not appropriate to work on a laptop. You have to adjust the chair height before sitting on it, unless you want to raise it all the way up or down ... show more
