I’m not sure what I was looking for but when I came across this I said I had to have it I just love the fact that it has the hungry caterpillar on it and that is a great book my daughter loves to read she is only 14 months She enjoys this although she cannot read as of yet it is comfortable to lay on and she also plays with her dolls on it. As for my five-year-old she loves it as well it’s easy for them to both sit on it and although the space is not big it does help the cleanup in the room I can say it does prompt my kids to clean up more being that it does have a little storage ... show more

Good product that my child enjoys. Be careful of the corners, however, due to the wood they are very prominent points. Had to get corner coverings to feel safe.

    • Cute, but hit and miss. Smaller than you think. Don't pay $90 for this.
*this is a lot smaller than it appears in the photos* It wasn't difficult to assemble, other than a few pre-existing engineering flaws. I appreciated the meticulous labelling of the panels and screws, etc. That was refreshing. I caught this on a sale, around $60. I think $45 would have been a generous price to pay. Love this! It’s so cute & perfect for my 1 year old. Would’ve gotten 5 star review but it came damaged. Corner of the sliding caterpillar was chipped. Overall still happy with it.

Was able to put this together by myself in about an hour with my three year old trying to help me. Directions were very easy and simple to understand. My son absolutely loves to read and has tons of books he this and immediately wanted to help me organize and put them away. He can open and close the doors easily enough that he is able to get and put up his books with no help needed. Great quality. Perfect seating for toddlers. Even for an adult to sit with child to read. Creates a "lounge" vibe for child. Enough storage space for lots of books. Material is very sturdy. I would say better quality than Ikea. Colors are vibrant and blue case door has beautiful light green color on opposite side which allows you to pick the color you want shown on the outside. It is very cute and both kids love it. My 4 year old is on the smaller side so she still sits comfortably. My 1 year old also climbs up to read a book or just play with the cushion. It was easy to put together. The only problem with it is it smells. I bought it Dec 2019 and it is now almost Sept 2020 and no matter what I clean it with, the wood still has a smell. Great little bench, too bad my son prefers to launch Hot Wheels off of it rather than sit on it. Holds a ton of books, the only real complaint is the cheaper quality seat and little pouch at the end thst was ripped off after the first use. It snaps on which held but he tore the seam out of it. Can definitely hold his weight whether he's jumping on it or trying to escape out the window. ... show more
