So I bought this for my car and my daughters because are radios dont have RCA's. Works as intended. It does need power though (remote/ignition). The brown wire needs to be hooked up straight to the remote on your amp. Highly recommend.

I got this to supply audio signal AND remote turn on for a 1100 watt amp I have that pushes a single 12 inch Kicker ported box. It hooked into the rear deck speaker wires of my 2018 Nissan Maxima. I ran the ground to a bolt near by the amp amd the remote power lead to the amp and boom. The amp powered on and sounds great! I did check the voltage and my meter was reading 12.8 volts. I have zero engine noise from it either! All in all it is a great and easy way to install an amp. I would highly recommend. ... show more

I wasn't somewhat surprised for the outcome of this product. Honestly, it didn't do the job I expected. I've gotten better sound out of a Scosche LOC than I did from this. I'm not 100% sure if I set it up right but im about 90% sure I did, and I'm not getting the sound quality I expected through my system. I'll be ordering my Scosche LOC back again. It did a way better job. It DOES work, I just didn't get the sound quality out of it that I wanted. Needless to say I'm rather disappointed. Great price though from Kicker. ... show more
