Love this vest, made snorkeling a joy. It was easy to pack and easy to inflate. Initially it took a little time to understand and apply the straps on my legs to keep the vest from floating up. Lesson learned apply the straps while standing and make sure the Velcro contact is smooth and thorough. Once in place this vest was the absolute best. It allowed me to relax and float even in pretty consistent currents. I was able to sit vertically with my head above water to rest. That is when the leg straps came in to hold the vest in place. The vest portion is a zip up vest rather than the usual horse collar variety. It is more comfortable and doesn’t ride up like the other style of vest.

I tried it once, it did float but the opening around the neck is big and not very well fitted, so when I was trying to sit down inside the water the neck opening will reach up almost coving my face, to inflate it was easy, the assembly was very easy specially with the demonstration video, I don’t know how to swim so I’m using it to give myself courage to be in water. ... show more

    • Supports a 300lb man with straps added in place of the zipper

With a quick modification, I was able to stitch on an adjustable buckle strap on both sides of the chest (there is space by the zipper, beyond the inflatable area) and added a buckle strap extension to the waist strap. Now able to fit my fatness, I wore it while snorkeling without issue.

We bought two of these to take snorkeling in the Caribbean and they worked really well. Easy to pack and quick to put on and take off, they increase visibility in the water and can be inflated/deflated while you're snorkeling or swimming which allows you to rest and float or deflate completely for surface dives.
