First one of the conditioners arrived damaged. There was no signs on the box that it had been damaged. The grills on the right side were bent. So we went ahead and installed it anyway,it was already out of the box. We got it in..the instructions are terrible. We let it run went out side to check on it and. Tere is water filling up in the ac.the fan is throwing the water around. We look in the trouble shooting guide and it says it is perfectly normal for water to drip out of the drainage hole. There is no drainage hole.we looked on the side on the bottom.no drainage hole,no plug nothing. My son had to drill a small hole in the bottom to let the water out and it poured out. So now I have a damaged AC with a drillhole. We also had to install one upstairs. No damage..but no drain hole on that one either. So my son had to drill another hole unfortunately this time he hit the refridgerant.so now I have one damaged a.c and one destroyed AC which if not for your workmanship would be ok. So now I have to buy another AC not fromyou. I cannot box these up and send them back..but I am extremely upset..and would appreciate some sort of reimbursement ... show more

I like that the remote has it's own temp sensor. The unit is in the kitchen and I'm in the living room with remote so the A\C keeps the temp in the living room where I want it. The side skirts are cheap so I put the box it can in to some extra use. I did notice the bottom of unit seemed to be stressed like the unit fell and the factory just repainted it. But works well so far, crossing fingers lol ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We purchased this window unit for our basement garage as the southern heat has made it impossible to enjoy anything downstairs this year and we were in the midst of a massive boat renovation project. The unit arrived quickly and was fairly easy to install and came with everything we needed to get it set up. Our basement is roughly 2300 Sq Ft and this unit keeps the basement at a comfortable temp no matter how hot it gets outside. For instance, on a 100 degree day, the unit keeps our basement at around 74 degrees. Our basement is not insulated well and the afternoon sun hits the cinder blocks and heats them up to a solid 145 degrees some days which radiates through the blocks into our basement and this unit still manages to keep us nice and cool. The unit is a bit loud but in my opinion, isn't any louder than you would expect a window unit to be. Highly recommend this unit. It was well worth the money. ... show more

Yea at first when I saw the add an the price ,I was like nah cant be but once again Amazon has pulled another great deal with this 14000 BTU unit an it is a monster of cold air that come through this Beast .I read in one review that it was loud .REALLY CMON !! then push the button to a lower setting . I was so amazed with this unit that ive told three of my closest friends to get one immediately .Of course I bought the four year insurance from assurance just in case .Im not trying to sell a pitch to anybody just stating the facts .This is a winner winner chicken dinner !!! ... show more

After unboxing and setting up in the window when I turned it on it made a terrible scraping sound! I took the cover off to inspect and the motor with the fan attached was completely unscrewed from the mount. The screws holding the motor had actually fallen out and were still in the bottom of the air conditioner (luckily). After retrieving the screws and trying to reassemble the motor 2 out of the 3 screws were stripped. I replaced them with 2 others from my own collection. Praying nothing else is wrong with this "new" $400 air conditioner. Beware. ... show more
