This bed frame is so gorgeous for the price and the lighting is a great added feature. The remote control is unreal how it changes the colors to be steady or flashing. The headboard does have a small defect and we’re a little worried that this small thing will lead to a bigger tear down the road but it’s not enough worry for us to return and wait for another to be sent to us. It took a few hours to assemble but so far it doesn’t squeak, which makes us content. The shipment box was damaged on receipt but luckily, everything was ok on the inside. After shopping all over on the internet. Reading all the reviews. We finally pulled the trigger on this one. Don't be fooled by any of the bad reviews. This bed frame is solid, well made and assembly friendly. When you first receive the 1 box. Unpack and inspect the product for any damage. We had none. We then made sure everything was there. It was. It took us just over 2 hours from the time we opened the box to having it assembled. Easy peasy. Picture shows 12 inch mattress with headboard assembled in lower position. Height from floor to top of mattress is 21-22 inches. Comfortable sitting position against headboard. Very pleased about this bed frame. ... show more

Bed arrived way faster than anticipated, probably because I lived close by from where it was shipped but it was processed fast! Very heavy package, all pieces were well organized. Instructions are medium in terms of difficulty, pictures are clear but it could be a lot more clear. It took me like 3 hours to build it with a friend but we did take a few breaks in between just cause we get easily distracted. The bed looks amazing, is very stylish and it’s sturdy. Fairly easy to put together. Easier with two people naturally. The headboard is the perfect angle and height for reading. It was packaged carefully. I have an extremely heavy, high density mattress and the frame seems to be handling it well. I love the look as well. Not bad. The lights are a tad dim especially being placed where they are but it’s not terrible. Could always install more under the bed frame. Surprisingly sturdy, I did put grip pads under the legs because it does slide around on hardwood flooring.
