I got this case for an iPad I intend to use instead of a laptop for virtual meetings. It fits the iPad well and is very sturdy. The keyboard adds a bit of weight and bulk but that is to be expected. The keyboard also sits directly against the ipad screen so I was happy I had already installed a screen protector. The keyboard charges quickly and worked instantly with my iPad's bluetooth connection. I did get a warning that the keyboard might interfere with wifi connectivity. I'm not sure if that's the nature of any bluetooth keyboard or just this model--waiting to see if it will be an issue while using Zoom but hoping for the best. The keyboard backlight is very fun and gives all the party vibes but it's also distracting in the default mode which changes colors. I wound up turning it off entirely but you can set to a single color and adjust brightness as well. ... show more

I have 5 issues with this. 1st. the keyboard dies very quickly. I only use it like 2 days and its dead. however I am on it a lot, and I'm sure the lights make it die much faster. 2nd. the delete button on the keyboard is so small, and there is a button above it, that when pressed locks the iPad. which is kinda annoying to turn off the iPad when you want to delete a word. 3rd.the sleep-wake function really doesn't work. even without the keyboard, it only works 1/4th of the time. 4th, without the keyboard inside the case, the magnetic flap doesn't fully close/latch to the other side of the case. and 5th, the case has a really hard time keeping the iPad standing up when the keyboard isn't inside. HOWEVER, I like this keyboard a lot. its really handy, and easy to use {other than problem(s) listed above} and its nice that it lights up so you can see it at night. to change the light color, the button is conveniently on the keyboard itself for a quick change. the case for the iPad is flexible, and I prefer that over the usual plastic. this case seems to be made really well, and it protects my iPad enough. I've already dropped it a few times, and its not broken. I would buy again. the magnet isn't very strong for the keyboard, but as long as you don't hold it UPSIDE DOWN with the case OPEN, it won't fall out. the keyboard is very thin, and easy to take on/off. I would recommend for someone who uses a keyboard all the time on their current iPad. I would only get this case if you're REALLY going to use the keyboard A LOT. ... show more

I’ve had my iPad for over a month. Not really invested in using it as much as I use my phone. The case is better quality initially than I expected for the price. The keyboard is sturdier and smaller. I have large hands for a woman and very long nails so I won’t be able to touch type like I did while coding, but it is very nifty and has increased my usage of the iPad significantly in the time since I received it. Was highly interested in protecting the iPad, and being able to type numbers in. (Mission accomplished!) I’m having no trouble at all with the magnetic closures. It’s got the auto-sleep wake for the iPad from the magnetic closure, and appears that there’s a hole for keeping the iPen handy while in use but not in hand. Wondering why another reviewer messed the closure up with Velcro, and is trying to convince others to do it also, tbh. I haven’t dropped it yet, which is shocking-and due to the easy grip surface of the case. It’s not the hard plastic type I usually prefer. I ordered it with expectations that the keyboard will fail sooner rather than later, but have revised my expectations after receipt and use. There are appropriate home locators (raised bumps) on the f and j keys for touch typing-and I’ve used them, just not quite the way my split keyboards had me spoiled. Keyboard came with short cables typical of older usb devices, which this is. And the instructions weren’t clear to me about the blinking lights for charging bec the keyboard appeared nearly fully charged on receipt, and I haven’t needed to recharge it yet. Definitely better overall than I anticipated for the price, and I’m now happy with my iPad, as it’s more functional for me. The inner shell is hard plastic, easy to slip the iPad into it, and the outer case is magnetic, soft to the touch, lightly textured and feels like it will be easy to clean. Without the keyboard in, there is a small gap that might go away with out it over time, or might not. (Came with foam filler to protect the keyboard…) Will attempt to update review when things shake out. ... show more

I selected one with slightly raised keys because I'm a secretary and that's what works best for me, even though laptops and IPads are not designed for heavy typing! I love the color, I chose green.
