I purchased 2 other deck boxes over the past week and returned them both due to very flimsy plastic. My sister has had the larger version of this by her pool for the last 2 years and it’s still in excellent condition and keeps items dry. When mine was delivered today it was lightweight and I was nervous that it would be flimsy but it was not at all. This went together well after it arrived. I intended to make a small rack to raise it up where the delivery people could stay in thier vehicle and packages would be delivered to one place. A rack that was light enough to push into my driveway when I mowed. I sat the box outside near the driveway and a storm blew through before I had time to make the rack. The wind blew it across the driveway. I decided to make a much heavier rack which turned out I couldn't push around easily so I had to put wheels on it and make hand lifts like a wheel barrow. 50+ mph winds didn't move it yesterday during a storm. Time will tell how long the plastic lasts but for now I don't have to worry about the delivery people being afraid of my barking dog. ... show more

Well done on the design / engineering Keter! 92 gallons was perfect for my storage needs and will also use as a coffee table on my deck to set drinks on. The container is very solid with no problem supporting a couple adults sitting or even standing on the unit. As much as I liked this in the beginning, the ease of the lid closure, easy to move around and appearance….. I found it not water tight . This was the whole reason I purchased this. The patio cushions in bottom of bin , when I’d pull them out were wet and could not use till they dried out . I can’t understand how the water is getting in when lid is locked down.
