My husband has been using these patches for his big toe for 2 weeks. I have noticed a difference in the appearance of the nail. The toenail looks less brittle/dry and more hydrated. One thing he learned was that you have to wash and dry your feet before putting the bandage on. He didn't do that on the first one and it did not stick. We rigged it with a band-aid and it stayed on through the night. I think we need to use this longer so I am going to continue for another 2 weeks and see how it goes! Will update soon. ... show more

Honestly I was shocked at the improvement. I prefer to use during the day when I wear socks. Directions for how to put it on didn't make sense to me, but I managed anyway 🤔

I live in the Southwest United States so wearing sandals and flip flops is par for the course. I’ve noticed that my big toenail on my left foot was starting to discolor and have ridges on the toenail. I decided to give these multi purpose nail repair patches a try. After a week and a half of continuous use I am seeing some change…not a miracle but definitely some difference. What I’ve found is that after my nightly shower I apply these, wake up the next morning do my workout, remove patches and shower. Recently after my morning shower I’ve added the kerasal gel to remove fungus. I think that the patches are softening the nails enough to allow fungal treatment in. The only way these stay on is if you wrap your toe in tape. The bandage by itself isn't enough. Not sure if these work, as it say you should use them every day for months. Seems like using a tube of cream is much cheaper.

Really helps really damaged nails; I used this for a week or two, then switched to Nail Aid Keratin treatment for a week or two again, my nails are healed just waiting for growth

The Kerasal Multipurpose Nail repair works fine. The problem i had with them is wrapping around my toe. They help soften the nail but does not lighten the nail if it's black.

I can't believe this stuff really works, but it does. 10 years ago when I was 9 months pregnant, I had a pedicure and the technician was incredibly rough. I didn't say much and endured the painful pedicure. Fast forward 3 weeks and I noticed the top layer of my nail polish started to peel off on my big toe, ALONG WITH layers of my toenail. I was horrified. I've never had any kind of nail infection and I was convinced I had caught something from the salon. I tried all kinds of over-the-counter remedies with no luck. As the nail continued to grow, it rippled and became bumpy, white and flakey. This made me feel really self-conscious. I went to a pediatrist and also to my dermatologist- both of whom said my toenail had no infection, but was in fact growing funky due to trauma to the nail bed, caused by the aggressive nail tech at that pedicure appointment. I'd dealt with this embarrassing nail for 9 years and was told by both doctors that nothing further would work. They both said since it was nail trauma and if it hadn't cleared up in all of these years, it's was going to be this way for the rest of my life. I thought I would try one last thing and looked up options for nail repair. I found Kerasal on Amazon and saw that it had great reviews, so figured I'd give it a shot. I've been using it pretty regularly for the past few months and this is the first time in almost 10 years that my nail is growing out smooth and clear again (without the flakey, dry, white layers peeling off). The nail is growing completely normal now except my cuticle remains a little more pink than my undamaged other nails and the cuticle is slightly lifted from the nail. I'm so relieved that this product truly, truly works! I was regimented about using it and would use it every morning and night for a while and then once a day for a while. I never had any adverse side effects or anything from using it too much. It's worked miracles for me and I hope it works for you too. In the photo attached, you can see the tip of the nail is still slightly bumpy with a ridge where it's still growing out- but you can see that the new growth is smooth. (Also, the nail looks yellow in the photo but isn't in person). I have no idea if I'll need to continue using this product to keep a normal looking nail forever, but it's worth it to me to have as part of my regimen since it works. If you've tried everything else for a nail with trauma to the nail bed, and if doctors have said you're stuck with an ugly nail for the rest of eternity, try this! I am a chronic nail biter/picker due to anxiety. I'm slowly starting to try to turn around my nail healthy, particularly on my thumbnails. My thumbnails are uneven, have lines and are just overall not a pretty sight to look at! In an effort to improve my nails, I decided to give these patches a shot. They're kind of like a large bandage that goes around the tip of your finger. I'm not really a huge fan of the application process of these patches. Firstly, there's a lot of plastic waste involved. Also, I can never get the tips at the top of the patch to stay down, the adhesive doesn't seem to be strong enough. I woke up a few times where the patch had completely come off my thumb. I feel like maybe a "sleeve" type application would be easier, or maybe a gel that I could cover with my own bandages. That being said, I did actually see results after the first application. My raw, disgusting looking thumbnails had become a little bit smoother. After a few nights of using these patches just on my thumb nails, they definitely look noticeably better. The packaging suggests to use the patches for 3-6 months for severely damaged nails, which seems like it'd be pricey if you were using these every day on multiple nails. Overall, I'd recommend these patches if you have some moderate nail damage and don't mind wearing a bandage on your fingertips for up to 8 hours, otherwise I feel like there are probably more cost-effective options out there for severe nail damage. ... show more
