I love this product, but I can't stand the pump. It is hit and miss on if you get one that actually works. The recent one I got, none of the tips in the A & Q area worked, so I'm going to have to toss it. Thankfully I've saved one that worked from a couple years ago. Please get a different pump on this. I know I'm not the only one with this issue. The product leaves my hair feeling great. It is worth getting it even with the pump issue but sure wish they would fix it, like they said they were back in '19.

The color is beautiful and it is easy to use, however, when I *tried* to open the bottle, the pumping mechanism completely broke. It wouldn't turn so the pump could pop out. It was as if the pump was fused together.

I've used several different colors of Keracolor and have bleached level 8 hair from a natural level 2-3 East Asian hair and have found that Keracolor isn't super drying to my hair and it does deposit color. Sometimes it does take a few wash-ins for the color to build, but I like that I can add to the intensity. Some do wash out faster than others, such as the Merlot. I could see the color rinsing out each time and even though it tinted the water and hence my towel, it didn't stain. It easily laundered out. I didn't experience that with any other color and I've tried Rose Gold, Silver Blue, and Mocha Latte. Its staying power depends on your hair's porosity and how often you wash your hair, but I find that it lasts me a good 2 or 3 weeks, but that's with some touch up in between. The color can also be a bit spotty depending on application. For refreshing your current color, I would say it's fine to wash in as you would do for co-washing. But if you're trying to change your hair color, then applying it in sections to dry hair is best, and make sure each section is saturated. I know, it sounds like standard hair coloring, but with this I can be a bit messier/lazier and not worry because the colors so far haven't stained any white sinks, countertops, clothes, or skin. It all has washed out fine. Oh, and just to mention, none of the colors I have tried cover any grays, nor did I expect them to. Lastly, I do notice some hair fall out with use, as I do with coloring in general. So I tend to give my hair some breaks from the coloring process. The hair that does come out is more like if I hadn't brushed my hair in one or two days, so it doesn't seem excessive to me. I do like this product, and will use again in the future.

I used this to kind of cover up some pink color on my hair which I’d say the product did do. I’ve got brown hair now so it’s not as dark as expected but it does work in terms of coloring the hair itself. Though it is fading rather fast.

I am trying to grow out my grays and this product is working well to blend the gray a little bit. Works to tone down my ends which still have old color that is brassy. BUT I started using it every time I shampoo, which is every other day, and my hair started having a noticeable purple tint which was not my goal. Now I'm just using it once a week and trying to keep it in for 5 minutes or longer and that seems to be better for me. It's ok in general as far as conditioners go, but don't like the smell. That said, I'm super fussy and over-sensitive to smells so if you don't have that problem, it may not bother you.

I was expecting it to work right away but it doesn’t lol. But you get more color payoff with each wash since it is not a hair dye per say. So it doesn’t have that chemically smell and actually smells pleasant. But color does fade if you don’t use it every wash or two. Therefore, don’t treat it like a dye. No matter how long you keep it on your hair it doesn’t make it more intense (at least for me). It’s really about consistency. I hear it works better on dry hair but I personally haven’t tried that!

Wear gloves, don’t sleep in pillowcases you care about, don’t dry your hair w a good towel, and don’t wear good clothes after. IT STAINS HARD, even your face so I actually recommend you wet your hair and then apply it OUT of the shower and in front of a mirror
