Warms up fast but the relief valve is directional and you’re going to look at arrow on valve and install accordingly , you will need fitting also that is not included to install correctly ! I’m hoping this lasts a few years. Wonder why but it’s from across the pond.

The media could not be loaded. Bought the water heater in December 2023 and installed it for my studio to have instant hot water to my sink. Seemed a like pretty good deal. At first... It was a pain to install. Constantly leaked from the pressure release valve and then finally started leaking from the front face plate (video included). Photos show the corrosion that happened in literally less than 3 months. The fact that none of the electrical is protected from water meant that this water heater was a ticking time bomb. An absolute trash piece of work. We only figured out the problem after we took apart the entire water heater. Don't waste your time with this product. You can't even replace anodizing rod which is highly recommended in other water heater brands. We switched to Bosch because I'm absolutely floored with how poor this product was made. Everything works fine. Tank came with two hoses for sink hook-up. One has the gasket/washer and the other one was MISSING this part. See photo. Using old hoses for now. I would appreciate getting a gasket washer for the hose.

Bought this unit because our house has a tankless water heater with a water distribution system that takes several minutes to get hot water to the sink. This was supposed to solve that problem. It's a relatively large unit (larger than some competitors' products) and so it was a bit of a chore to install. Once installed, it is working, but not quite as smoothly as we want. On several occasions, it kicked on and tripped the circuit breaker for that part of the house. At other times, the water temperature seemed to fluctuate a lot - sometimes too hot, and sometimes too cold. Several other people in our neighborhood have the same problem and they adopted our solution, but we advised them to get a different manufacturer's product that does the same thing. ... show more

Update: This heater was absolutely awesome, and about a week after the year mark, it just stopped working. Too bad actually because it was really great when it was working. I live in a mini-house and needed something small to put under my kitchen sink so I would be able to wash dishes, etc. This was perfect. I got the 2-1/2 gallon tank. It set up fairly easily with 1/2 inch Pex, but I think it definitely helps to have some knowledge/skill in plumbing. The unit plugs in and has quite a short cord, but that was easily factored in for me. Did have a small leak on the hot side when I turned the water on for the first time, but a garden hose gasket that I had on hand fixed it easily. I liked the size and the price of this, shipped quickly and packed well. It fit easily under my sink as it is less than 12 inches square. The really great part is how well it works. It takes mere minutes to heat water. This is not an on-demand system, but a point of use; however, I was doing a large project in the kitchen and house today, cleaning a lot of things, and I never once ran out of hot water because it heated up so quickly in between uses. It's so handy that we purchased two more, one for my parents kitchen sink, and another for the laundry room. For the price, you can't beat it. ... show more
