I received this floor lamp today and it was very easy to assemble and all parts were included. My only complaint is the two pieces of stone do not match. The large piece at the top of the lamp is almost black with some ivory veining, resembling marble. The smaller stone at the bottom of the lamp is much lighter in color and looks more like speckled granite. Of course most people may not notice this but I sure did. The shade is very pretty and the lamp looks nice with the other bronze lamps and ceiling fan that are in the room. By the way, the lamp I received has a 3-way switch. Most reviews said it did not have a 3-way but mine does. ... show more

I'm very happy with this lamp. It is attractive, heavy, and sturdy. The base is large and heavy, so I don't worry that my cats will knock it over. The shade is especially pretty. The fabric has a nice design to it. I expected plain fabric, so this was a pleasant surprise. The two stone pieces are actual stone, not painted resin. Some reviews say that the lamp is wobbly. You do have to keep screwing the pieces together for awhile before they get solidly together, and after that, there is no wobble. I would buy this lamp again. It will look great next to a chair and ottoman that we have on order for this corner of our family room. ... show more

Exceeded our expectations at this price point, for sure. Solid, stable base, attractive design. Well protected during shipment and very easy to assemble - the wiring is already "threaded" through the three sections and the sections were very easy to assemble. This is a class act.

I was actually impressed with this floor lamp. It came packaged very well! Quality seems very nice as well. I bought this to go with the matching table lamp that I bought earlier from another store (which I was also impressed with as well). This floor lamp is very sturdy. Fits my decor nicely.

    • A little off center
The imbedded screw socket that hold the lampshade is board in at a slant. If I tighten the shade it looks crocket. Even when I keep it loss you can tell the socket is off center. There was no paper work to call for help so now I'm stuck with a lamp that is off center for the rest of my life. I really wish I could get it fixed. ... show more

    • The lamp quality was otherwise great, but reviews (on this site and others) indicate ...
As other reviewers have indicated, the 3-way switch didn't work. A 3-way switch has two circuits; one powers the bulb's "low" filament, one powers the "medium" filament. "High" simply operates both filaments together. The switch of the lamp I received only operated the bulb's "medium" filament, so rotating the switch through the "low, medium, high" settings yielded "off, medium, medium". I had already discarded the carton, so returning the lamp was not an option; I bought a replacement lamp socket with switch and replaced it myself (which is not a job for the inexperienced, as a mistake can energize the entire metal lamp). The lamp quality was otherwise great, but reviews (on this site and others) indicate you take a chance on the switch. I'd caution that if you are at all hesitant to replace the switch, this lamp might not be the best choice. ... show more
