I wanted a cuckoo clock and found this one to be a great price. Everything was packaged great However when removing the backing as the instruction suggests I found mold on it. The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty good coocoo clock for the price. My husband wanted one, and I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money. The majority of the clock is wood. However, like many others said, the little bird and the chirping sounds makes it seem cheap. The bird is made of plastic and deflects from the overall beauty of the clock. I realize you get what you pay for, so that's why I give it five stars. I could stand to lose the "echo" chirping. I find it hard to keep track and count with that, and there's no way to turn it off. It is also hard to set the amount of chirps to the hour. You have to keep hitting that little button on the side until it gets to the amount of chips you need. Again, not difficult but hard to keep up when it echos too. All in all, it's still a good value and I have "no regerts" (some of you will get that, most won't). ... show more

It's a cheapy. But I'm pretty fond of it. It's hung pretty high on the wall. From a distance It's a nice little "replica" of the real deal. The actual chime is not the best but still a lot of fun. Good purchase
