  • Great customer supprt
This is my first bread maker. I love the ceramic non-stick pan and paddle they are both very easy to clean. I made a number of different breads and the bread maker was very easy to use and did a great job. The included measuring cup and recipe book are not much help. I would recommend A food scale and to download bread maker recipes from the internet. When my bread maker overheated and quit stirring I contacted John at customer support regarding the problem and after a few questions from John they are sending me a new bread machine. I am very happy with customer support. ... show more

  • Great machine! great service!
ANOTHER UPDATE So the seller got a hold of me, sent me all the PDFs and even a replacement pan because mine was chipped. I now know how to use all the features and have made so great rolls, breads, pasta, and more! I have to admit I like the King Arthur recipes the best. I weigh everything because I get consistent quality that way. Everyone loves the fresh products and there just isn’t any real work to this, anybody’s can set the pan on a scale dump and weigh each ingredient in the pan and then press 12 and let the machine do all the work! When it beeps you take it and shape it any way you want and bake! It’s never bad and always perfect! I’m changing my stars from 4 to 5! UPDATE: I’ve made several loaves now and even hamburger buns in it today so I’m raising the rating from 3 to 4 stars. It is still performing well and using a scale and weighing out the ingredients makes a perfect loaf and perfect bread products! The simplicity of taking the bread pan, setting it on the scale then adding each ingredient (zeroing/rare after each), then putting it in the machine and forgetting about it is sooo easy! No worrying about the yeast, water temp, sugar mixing to ferment it; just dump and let the machine do the work...and a wonderful product comes out! We’ll see how it works in a few more months. I do highly recommend this for anyone that loves to make things from scratch! I recently tossed all the ingredients in and made my own pasta and pizza dough with it; perfect no work kneading it does it all! ORIGINAL —> So this machine is good but I’m not convinced it’s great yet because I’ve only made one loaf of bread! The “recipes” well it is like 9 that basically say the same ingredients but you just press another button I guess. I made a 1.5 lb multigrain loaf with medium it was heavy not your super market fluff of air and had an excellent brown top, I’d say perfect browning. The loaf itself was an odd shape and since there’s really no instructions on the operation of the machine I’m not sure if or when I can reach in and reshape the dough. I tried contacting the maker for the recipe pdf they promised but nobody responds. Stuff from China, ugh! Why don’t they just put the pdf on their website and let us download it! If anybody want to put it on Google docs and share it, I’d appreciate it. I’m really not sure what the difference is in the settings nor if or when the little shoot opens. Not sure how I make like a cinnamon raisin nut bread with this machine. Can I pull the dough out after it mixes then fold in the cinnamon? No instructions for this machine. Not sure what bread book would help me learn to use this machine either! MACHINE QUALITY: so overall it’s okay. I’m a bit concerned with the lid as it’s flimsy and rubs against the side of the control panel which means over time it will scratch the finish off. The container the bread is made in is a sort of square shape and makes an odd shaped loaf. I know their pictures show round loaves, French bread baguettes and even rolls so do they have other pans that insert in or how are people making those? Too much missing information! Time will tell if I figure it out. ... show more

  • Works with a few issues
UPDATE 2/6/2025: The seller reached out to me after I posted my first review. They genuinely tried to make me happy and provide the best possible service. A respectful and trustworthy seller - you won’t be disappointed. -------------- It has been about four months since I bought this product. I could not have been happier for the first two months. The documentation was good, and it was easy to set up and get running. Here is a list of the issues I experienced: 1: It began making a squeaking noise. Over time, the noise got worse. 2: I feel like it struggles more to rotate the dough, despite using the same recipe and ingredients. 3: The seller advertises a "quiet motor," but I would disagree. It is not terribly loud, but it is also not exactly "quiet." 4: Ceramic pan? Maybe ceramic-coated would be more accurate. After just six months, bread sticks to the pan in a few spots, even though there are no scratches. My final verdict: The product could be improved. ... show more

  • Excellent bread maker w/ceramic non-stick and great customer support
The best thing about this bread maker in my mind is the ceramic non-stick pan and paddle. This is my 3rd bread maker. The first one I bought was when there was only one made. Both of these first two failed not because the machine stopped working but because the non-stick became high-stick, so bad you had to break the loaf apart to get it out of the pan. This machine is multifunction which I have no thoughts on. I may use other functions I may not. I would have bought it if it only made bread. It does have an automatic dispenser for nuts, fruit, etc. I may try making some cinnamon raisin bread at some point in which this will be a handy feature. The other thing I really like about this machine is that it makes a traditional shaped loaf. It also has dual heating elements which seems to work better at baking and heating more evenly than my previous machines. The bread comes out very consistent compared to my previous machines. Another nice feature of this machine is a second paddle. It also comes with a hook to remove the paddle if it stays in the finished loaf and a hot mitt. I make bread during the day so I haven't used delay timer but I did ask about it with the exceptional customer support. I was curious because my sister also makes bread. She has a far more expensive, big name, machine and she told me if she hits start there is a 20 minute or so delay before her machine starts as it has a pre-heat cycle. This machine starts immediately (although Anadama bread requires scalded milk which has to be allowed to cool so perhaps this makes my machine sense that there is no need to pre-heat). In any case John with customer support informed me of the heart sensor and should the delay start be used, what the temperature would be raised to prior to actual mixing. Obviously if you have a 10 hour delay overnight in a 65° house temperature has to be raised or yeast will not function properly. I confirmed that this machine does deal with that automatically with a heat sensor, rather than a pre-heat cycle. I also contacted John at customer support regarding what I was concerned could be a potential problem with the non-stick on my pan (included photo of concern). He sent me a new pan which I had in 2 days. As noted customer support is exceptional. As an aside, despite what I've read, bread making is not a precision endeavor. I have family recipes going back several generations including bread recipes for the same bread, Anadama (a cornmeal and Molasses bread introduced by Portuguese fishermen centuries ago). I found 5 or 6 recipes and none are exactly the same, calling for more or less salt, Molasses, cornmeal, butter, milk/water, one even included an egg, so I wouldn't get too hung up on precise measurements. Some of these recipes are old enough that there is no listed oven temperature. It merely states bake in "hot oven", obviously from before ovens had either thermometers or heat controls. I was informed that "hot oven" has been determined to be 350° F. Needless to say baking back then must have been far less precise, no known temperature nor clocks to time the baking process. My mother instructed me how to tell when bread was done by looking at the crust, nicely brown, and thumping (flicking) the crust with finger listening for hollow sound. The only negative I have found with this package is the included measuring cup. It's nearly impossible to read the markings but more importantly it is not close to accurate. I tested it against Pyrex measuring cups I've used for years and it is off quite a bit. However, if you were to use this cup for all liquids it would still be consistent and only perhaps require a little adjustment if you aren't happy with how you're loaves are coming out. I'll include the recipe I've been using for decades adjusted for bread machines for Anadama bread to make 1 1/2 lbs loaf. 1 cup milk, 3/8 cup water, 2 Tablespoon butter in pan, scald (bring to just starting to boil and remove from heat. Do not allow rolling boil) Stir in 1/3 cup yellow course ground cornmeal, add 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 cup of baking molasses (different from blackstrap molasses, contained sugars are different, check label, black strap may work, I've never tried it) Allow to cool to between 120° - 130° F (for bread machines only, must be cooler for hand kneaded bread 100° - 110°). I use a meat thermometer but use a thermometer because too cold or too hot will affect yeast and bread rise). This is probably the only critical aspect of making bread this way. Put this mixture in the pan, add 2 1/2 cups bread flour, make divot in flour, putting in 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (not rapid rise yeast). Press start. Makes fantastic toast with just butter on it. You used to be able buy Anadama bread at most any grocery store in the Boston area (probably most of New England) back in the 60s but I've only had it since by making it myself. ... show more
