I have been looking for an Olive Tree for a few weeks and have read dozens of reviews of different trees and finally settled with this one and it is perfect! I was looking for a tree with a lighter wood trunk/branches and the color of this is exactly what I wanted! I also prefer a tree with branches down most of the trunk which this tree has. Some trees only have leaves on the upper half of the trunk which I do not prefer. Another positive which I didn’t realize I wanted was the back of the leaves are light green, and the front leaves are dark green, which makes the tree less bold. I was going for a lighter look and that’s exactly what I got. I don’t have a basket yet, so I laid the tree in this larger blanket basket and the tree still looks amazing. Before I purchased this tree I read the reviews but took a chance anyway. It wasn't packaged well and the base rolled around inside the box in the back of my car all the way home from the post office. Probably why a branch was hanging and branches were all twisted. Once out of the box and put together I was a little disappointed it was so skinny and sparce. It definitely doesn't look like the picture. But I guess for the price it is adequate for what I need it for. I live in a rural area and can't go shopping for the perfect olive tree. I gave it four stars because of the broken branch and it's space. I did get all seven feet though so thumbs up for that. And it does look realistic from a distance. I have a rustic pot to put it in so I'm sure it will look fine. ... show more

I bought the 6’ tree and put it in a wicker basket (that still needs moss) and I love it! It’s meant to not be a very full tree it’s more minimal so if you’re looking for a full tree this will not be it. That being said this one has the perfect amount of branches not too many olives, it doesn’t look super fake and I love the softer green as opposed to a bright green. You will need to bend out the branches the way you want so there is not too big of gaps. Be carful in bending them but after walking by a few times you will see where to move things around so it’s perfect. It came in two pieces that just snap together easily. While the product itself is nice, it’s definitely not as full as the photo depicts. I’ve tried fluffing it several different ways but it still looks sparse. I’ll keep it as it’s going in a narrow spot so I will make it work.
