This tree is stunning and easy to put together. Took about 1 hr total to spread out the branches. Lovely tree and looks very realistic, not the 'plastic' you see nowadays. It is heavy though, thank heavens it comes in 3 sections. It comes with a sturdy bag to store it in but I think I may use the box it came in instead. Very nice to have 2 sets of gloves to spread out the branches as they can be very drying to your hands over time. Just recently retired our old Xmas tree and my wife wanted a new one that had lights, better said, multicolored lights to be precise. Looking for quality Xmas trees and Balsam came up as the top tier of trees. I do admit that it is a little precisely, but when you want quality and service that stands behind their product, then that’s what you get. I have been overly pleased with the multi function of the tree in changing colors and patterns and to top it off, the fact that I can customize the color layout with whatever theme my wife chooses for the holidays is epic. I recommend, no, I highly recommend this Xmas tree if you are able to purchase it. Whether you choose the multicolor, plain, or whatever you flavor is, I think it’s a solid investment. You do have to put some work to fluff the tree, but it’s just a little work and honestly, I think doing all that work is worth it. I am pleasantly surprised by my beautiful, new Christmas tree. I was hesitant to get an artificial tree. To me, the term “fake tree” has always been an insult rather than description. My new Balsam tree is beautiful, easy-ish to assemble and I don’t have to water it or worry about it drying out and dropping all its needles long before Christmas day. Family members couldn’t tell it wasn’t real until up close and peering at the trunk. I’m thrilled with my tree and am sorry that I have to take it down until next Christmas. ... show more

we are very happy with the 2023 purchased of this Christmas tree, we got it to replace the one we bought in 1985. hope we get the same longevity !!! It does take a bit of TLC to shape it . when it was all said and done it did look very nice and appears to be real. couldn't beat the price $$$

After reading the reviews about the top of the tree being slimmer then the rest, all I can say is I have no idea what they're talking about. The tree came packaged perfectly and the instructions were ultra easy. The gloves were nice for fluffing the tree out. The first two sections have the branches on hinges which is extremely nice. The very top section has normal wire style branches that you bend down into place. To make it look really full, we basically did a pattern of the offshoots by doing 2 up, 2 down, 2 side, etc. Also, every other branch can be split into either 2 or 3 separate branches with offshoots coming off those. You will want to make sure you pull those apart or you will have gaps. After doing this, our tree came out looking very full and natural looking. Even up close the tree does not look cheap. First the tree does not measure 7ft its close to 6 1/2. The company will not refund you if you don't like it or have any problems with it. They played a back and forth game with me telling me Amazon had to approve my refund. Amazon would then tell Balsam Hill to refund and they would not. Went to AtoZ guarantee but they would not help either told me to send the tree back on my own dime and let them know if they send a refund. WTF kind of guarantee is that. ended up with a crap tree not the correct height and pieces falling off on it already. ... show more
