I must confess that I was happy with how the backyard became decorated: all with my theme colors and full of life thanks to the different shapes that came in this kit. The paper lanterns where very easy to assemble and they even bring the small base to put some lights on them (which I did) The flower shaped one was a bit less easy to do, but between my brother and friends, we end up setting everthing before our big day. One downside is that the garlands don't come with the yarn or thread to attach them, so you need to get something to put them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I decided to use clear fishing line and tacks to hang them from the ceiling. You could go to a Dollar Tree & get the same look/pom poms, but for me it was the convenience of getting the colors I needed & having it delivered right to my door. I’d suggest buying them days before your event, because they do take some time to put together and if you’re unsure how to assemble the lanterns/pom poms, try searching Google - as there are helpful videos online! ... show more

Honestly you can go a lot cheaper by going to the dollar tree and buying the stuff to make it yourself all you get is some flimsy lanterns that rip easily and the pom poms doesn’t even come together which I can understand but no matter how you try to put it together it doesn’t come out right. Just save your dollars and get some stuff to make them for a lot cheaper and you can probably get more product out of buying it front the store. ... show more

These are great above my daughter's princess tent, but putting them together was a $&#@*. The tissue paper is so thin and easy to rip. Cute once put up, though. I used white sewing string and white thumb tacks to put them up.

Let me start by saying the Chinese Lanterns were great. Great color. Easy to put together. I only broke one thingy but that was my fault. Now for the Poms. I was no expecting to have to make the poms. I understand shipping, it makes sense, but still. I bought these to decorate a large tent for a graduation party. They were super cute and added a perfect touch of color. Easy to assemble except for the Poms. Those were a pain in the butt! But after some fluffing, they looked nice. I’m able to save to use for future parties .

Used them for my son's Wild One party You definitely need lots of patience and time so if you think you will quickly assemble the day of you are going to stress out. I assemble the night before and glad I did since every detail takes time glad I purchased hange on my lanterns

HORRIBLE! Maybe these are great if you are a crafty person. I am not. The paper lanterns were fine but we ended up not using the pom poms as we couldn't get them put together. (Two other adults tried besides myself and it was just to time consuming.) It ended up just being a waste of paper and money. ... show more
