Did an oil change with filter on a vintage Kawasaki ZX-11. I like to use 10W40 proper weight motorcycle oil to minimize friction. (20W50 oil usually steals power and creates more heat due to churning the higher viscosity fluid.) Brand is less important, but motorcycle-specific oil is important because of oil additives necessary for wet clutches and higher pressures in the transmission gear teeth. Delivery was fast. Price reasonable and it's the oil my owners manual called for, figured I try it rather than one of the other motorcycle oil alternative. Ridden a couple hundred miles on it and the new filter and everything is working well as expected.

    • No more clutch slipping
I recently changed my oil in my Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 I use a Synthetic blend thinking it would be a good choice boy was I wrong within the first 10 miles my clutch started slipping I was like really!! I had heard about some synthetic oils being bad for wet clutches So just to see if there was any truth to that I ordered this Kawasaki oil and and sure as shit within problem 20 miles no more clutch slipping go figure I never would of that that would make a difference but it did. My Harley Road King loves synthetic but not my Kawasaki. So if you're having problems with your clutches slipping try Kawasaki oil first. ... show more
