In an attempt to take them up on their descriptive words, I would purchase the blanket only to be disappointed by either its heaviness and/or lack of warmth. This blanket it quite the opposite. It lives up to its claims to be both lightweight and warm. I love the blanket. My only disappointment is that the blanket, on the outside which have the Moroccan quatrefoil pattern is more white than gray. I have been using the solid grey side instead although I wanted the pattern to tie in with the rest of my decor. This is probably the greatest blanket I've ever owned. It feels like you are snuggling up with a super soft teddy bear. I'm a hot sleeper, but this is not so heavy that I'm uncomfortable, yet keeps both of us warm. It washes well, and doesn't seem to pill up at all. And pet owners, it hides pretty hair. Amazing. If you're not sure about This blanket, do it. It smells when you open the bag, washed immediately and dried, following directions on tag. Turned out beautiful! No bunching or pilling hardly any fuzz on the lint tray on the dryer. Long enough to cover both sides of the bed to the bottom of the first mattress and covers from Head board with plenty of room to tuck into bottom. So incredibly soft as well.
