I love this bag. I was sick of carrying a traditional purse, but needed lots of space. This puppy holds a lot without being bulky, still light and easy to carry, and has a spot for everything. The stitching is solid, the buckle and strap too, and with heavy duty material I expect it to last. The strap adjusts well and the zipper flaps make it more secure. I ordered this bag to take with me for a six week trip to Japan. I tend to like to be able to carry a lot of stuff on my person any time I go out, and especially while traveling in a foreign country, I needed a bag that would hold what I needed without being too large for my smaller frame. I hoped this would not be cumbersome and rough on my shoulders. After six weeks, I can say this was exactly what I needed and did everything that I hoped. The compartments are very handy, and were able to accommodate everything I needed, and also provided the ability for me to stay organized (compartments are great and once I devised a system of organization, it was very easy for me to find my stuff). The outer velcro pocket was perfect for my small digital camera, and the zip pocket was great for a smartphone ( I have an iPhone SE, but I think anything slightly larger would fit as well, since there was plenty of additional space). On one day-trip, the two larger pockets were able to accommodate two paperbacks, sunscreen, a glasses case, my wallet, a small toiletry bag, a bottle of water and some snacks. In one of the larger pockets, there is a zippered pocket that is perfect for a passport and other travel documents. Its design is pretty nice, and it was very easy to just swing it around to the front of me to grab things out without taking it off. And... after 6 weeks of heavy use, it has remained intact and has shown no signs of damage or tearing. It's a sturdy bag alright! While I would not recommend taking this bag somewhere that pickpocketing is rampant or where there are large crowds, as its convenient design may provide easy access to everything, it is great for everyday use and for travel needs in safer locations. I'll be adding it to my everyday selection of bags, and I will definitely use it for travel again. ... show more

I bought this sling bag after seeing that a family member had one. I love all the pockets it has! Love the quality of it and the fact that it is strong enough to hold water bottles for my 4 kids on the straps when we are out walking!
