This safe is even better than I expected for the price. It arrived very quickly and just in time for my son's birthday. It was packaged very well, almost too well but it definitely protected the safe. It took a little work to get it unpacked. The safe was fully assembled, all I had to do was put batteries in where they needed to be. It is made with high quality steel and seems to be tamper proof. I don't think anyone would be able to pry it open. It also has pre drilled holes to be bolted down to avoid any stealing the whole safe. It can be opened with keys, fingerprint and electronic password. Both the small cabinet up top and the bigger cabinet open with separate keys. We are using the small cabinet to store pistols, ammo and cash. My son can fit all 5 of his rifles/shotguns in the safe with no problem. I really like that it has a light inside that comes on when you open the door. I am so glad I bought this safe and my son loves it too. I will most likely be buying another one for my daughter as she grows her gun collection. ... show more

Ok, I didn't see any reviews on this one, so thought I would share my experience. It is light, I was able to carry through the house with little problems, and I am 51 so not the strongest. The keys for the top and bottom are sturdy and worked perfectly. The safe is small yet, I fit 2 scoped rifles and 2 shotguns in with no problems. 5 would be a bit much but without scopes would be no problem. The only issue I had was setting the codes. The instructions leave out a important piece of information. To set pin, use key to unlock, turn handle and open safe. TURN HANDLE back to lock with door open. Short press reset, do not hold down, Hit #, enter code, #, repeat this and it should work. To do the fingerprint, same process, but hold your finger down for 1 sec and release, 4x. This is more of a secure gun cabinet, to call it a safe is a bit much, but meets my needs. It will keep out the curious, but will not stop someone that really wants in. But if you are protecting something of high value, get a actual safe. For me, grandkids can't access, meets criteria for anyone wanting to foster kids, and just a great deal. ... show more

This safe is one of a kind, extremely durable and comes with every needed feature. The finger print is extremely reliable and works very well! The safe is also very durable and has a ton of open space. This has been a great purchase and I highly recommend it.

The safe is fine if you have youth guns. It will not hold a full sized shotgun. The hooks for the pistols is unsafe. The hooks can easily come out with or without guns attached. The instructions are not clear and concise. But you get what you paid for.

I was very pleased with the quality of the safe. It is sturdy and the exterior seems of a thick metal. The size is just enough to fit my beginner collection. I like that you can open it with a key as well for an extra alternative. It has the ability to make noise when opening or to be muted .

The quality is better than I expected. It is made out of steel. One tip...It is important to secure the safe to the wall or to the floor, if you do not secure the safe, when opening the door it may cause the safe to tip over since the door are so thick and heavy (a temporary solution is to use a strong double-sided tape on the backside of the safe, on the very top, and on both right and left sides closer to the top of the safe. Don't worry, it is difficult for someone to run off with a 90 pound safe, heavier with firearms and ammo are loaded in). You can also secure the safe with the included screws, holes are predrilled for convenience. The password and biometric setup was fast and easy. I am a happy customer.     • Unable to change PIN code or add fingerprint

This is the second one in less then a week. I have followed directions to a T. R I Unable to set new PIN code or add a finger print. Have tried for hours and there is absolutely NO tech support. Only support comes from Amazon which is worthless. Just want to exchange. They want you the package it back up which takes an act of god to do. Took over a hour and 3 rolls of packing tape. I’ll continue to try for another day then I’ll be returning it and purchasing a different brand. ... show more

Pretty straightforward, slim safe. Combination/key secured lower safe. Key locked top box. Adjustable hooks on main safe door. Door shelves are pretty narrow. Fits 4 rifles/shotguns easily, 5 snuggly. Depth of safe will not accommodate firearms with sights attached. Will accommodate one average 7 year old, for a great hiding spot. ... show more
