I love this machine. The strap is perfect for lugging around and being obnoxious. Two mics work pretty great, they need batteries, but that’s okay. I wanted to get a better karaoke machine than the cheap tiny ones. This unit sounds a lot better, I often play music in my office from it. It did not take long to connect via Bluetooth. There is a spot on the top of it for setting up a phone or iPad. It also has a carrying strap which makes moving it around easy along with remote, two mikes, and a 3.5 mm audio cable. We can change the light settings which helps create a fun environment. Connecting the wireless mikes is easy just power them on when ready. There are some more advanced settings for setting Mike priority and audio adjustments. On the remote there are buttons for various sound effects, I would like the option to change our voice. Cheaper machines have that I am not sure why this does not. One large drawback for me is the insanely loud voice when powering it on or shifting between modes. I can have the volume on the lowest setting and the voice is still thunderous. To me the voice should be lowered down a good amount or linked to the volume setting. I've been waiting for a larger, more adult oriented Karaoke machine to show up on my Vine. This one also has a Mic input that I could use with my guitar. I was actually expecting a much better sound for the dimensions and price point. The pictures in the description make it look larger than it is, and the display on the microphones is just backlit fake information. ... show more

When the box arrived, I said, "WOW- look at the size of it!" The machine is much larger than I imagined- but that is good! It comes with a carry strap- but once you get it to where you want- you really don't carry it around- so that is good. It is not like a professional speaker, but who wants one that size- I am in to portable in the places we would use it. It is a very manageable size, think big boom box. I guess I was expecting smaller- but in reality, you really need it to be at least this size. DSP chip? I had to look it up. Digital Sound Processing- more specific than a general one- I guess this is good! Sorry- I just like something to work- and this does! Two mics- you need to purchase batteries for these. So, be forewarned- don't take it someplace assuming you can use it right out of the box like we did. Love that the mics are wireless, the range is good enough. I have not tested the 12-hour use with a 2-hour charge yet. That would be a long party!! I assume it would get close or at least be for a normal-length gathering. I am excited to try this at the next reunion- my own loudspeaker for the games, too. The lights add a sense of excitement when you are all up front making fun. Quite the retro from the 80s feel. The remote control is nice, as you can be just about anywhere within the line of site. We were able to connect the Bluetooth just fine and use our playlist- awesome. We used our iPad. You can even use your TV if it connects. Honestly, there are just too many pluses to review for this machine. I have priced what looks to be similar in comparison, and this machine looks just about right, especially with the coupon they are offering right now. I can't really think of anything I don't like about it yet! Great karaoke machine/speaker. We connected it to Bluetooth and pulled up karaoke songs on YouTube. Both the kids and adults had a great time! The mics pick up great and have good range. Be aware you will need batteries. The unit itslef is smaller than expected but good convenient to move around. The lights are fun and there's a slot to place a phone or tablet.
