I absolutely love these plates! I originally got them thinking I'd gift them to a family member. After I opened the box, not knowing exactly what was in it, I saw how beautiful they are in person. I decided to take one out and try it (I'm single so I only need one lol). It's the only plate I ever use anymore. I love the design / pattern. I also love that the the edges are raised. It allows you to use the whole plate and it's raised enough that you don't have to worry about spills with more liquid meals. Within reason of course. 😂 I've been using the same plate for a few months now. No issues with durability so far. It seems pretty hardy. I think it'll last for some time as far as I can tell. If you need plates or just want some new ones, I think just about anyone would be pleased with these! ... show more

These are full sized dinner plates with a raised edge. I actually thought they were more like the pasta bowl shape, but these are definitely not a bowl. I've used them for spaghetti with meat sauce and several dinner salads and the edge kept everything on the plate. I've noticed no scratches from utensils and they did great in the dishwasher. They are heavy plates and the swirl pattern is very nice. They should hold up very well. I ordered a set of the pasta bowls from another site for a similar price but these plates are a much better quality so I feel the price is fair. These dishes are a wonderful surprise. They are thick and have good weight. They seem very durable. My first use, for some not-nearly-as-good microwaved pizza, confirms that even stuck-on cheese washed off easily. I’ve uploaded photos of the entire set, top and bottom, that I received. As per the photos, the swirl pattern for each dish is unique. I really like them for a dining set or kitchen with a more modern aesthetic. Upon very close inspection the darker portion of the swirl patterns have some browning and what appears to be almost a sort of pixilation. But it’s not visible from even an ordinary viewing distance from the plate, at which point they simply look like randomly swirled paint. I am a fan. We've been using these for a while now and we all love these plates. We use them for everything except for a full meal at dinnertime. They're great to use for breakfast, as dessert plates, salads or sandwiches. So far, they appear to be durable and not easy to chip (unlike some other plates we've had). We throw them in the microwave, the dishwasher and the kids have manhandled them in the kitchen sink... without any issues. We love the high lip around the edge, and we've had lots of nice comments about the faux marble effect and how 'different' they look.
