This product kept falling apart even when snapped in tight. The straps were frayed coming apart upon opening of the box. One of bike holder straps were broken as well. Not worth the money. I don't recommend.

Purchased this rack to carry my son’s bicycle around with my convertible vehicle due to not having enough space. The delivery was fast and the packaging quality is on point! It comes with a booklet and the instructions are very simple. It took me about 15 mins overall to assemble the rack and to place it on the trunk. I was pretty excited about this bike rack because my kids bikes have gotten too big to transport inside my small SUV. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to use it because my tailgate has a spoiler at the top and to get the straps tight enough for the bikes to be secure it would likely damage that. ... show more

    • Light weight, easy to assemble
The 2 bike trunk mount bike rack arrived, well packaged, on time, and defect free. I ordered the bike rack for my SUV, since I did not have a hitch on the SUV for my hitch mount bike rack. For my daily rides, storing the bike in my SUV is sufficient. For trips, where luggage is involved, there isn't sufficient room, so an external rack was needed. I do have a roof rack, and roof rack bike carrier, however, the gas mileage penalty using this approach pushed me to find a different solution. This particular rack is your typical no name rack, but it works well. It's made of plastic, but appears to be sturdy, and will hold 2 bicycles. There are a total of 6 straps that secure the rack to the car, so stability does not appear to be an issue. Plastic ratchit straps secure the bike, and spare straps are included. One bungee cord is included, but I would recommend additional cords to adequately secure the bike to the rack. The rack requires minimum assembly, and is light weight. Load capacity is 70 lbs., which is not an issue for carbon road bikes, but could be an issue for heavier mountain or E bikes. Overall the rack works as advertised. ... show more
