Excellent filters, the variable ND capability is a definite must have for outside shooting. The only way to get a perfectly exposed image is with these. They’re small and easy to fit in my camera bag.

The media could not be loaded. pros-unlike most variable nds for this tiny osmo 3, the KF overlaps at nd32. this means that any slight x-effect is minimized because at the dark end of 2-32 you can switch over to the 32-512. also, the filter does not interfere with gimbal shutdown as the video demonstrates. the kf also comes with a screen protector if so desired. cons--like all variable nds for the osmo, these are tiny tiny tiny as in thin thin thin. thus the tradeoff is using these wafers instead of the thicker, easier to handle Freewells and such -- which do not close into the unit to protect the gimbal lens. ... show more

    • Impossible to read and adjust stop settings while on P3!
Size: ND2-32 & ND32-512
First, these are thin and will allow the gimbal to fully close. Second, the VND glass is quality. But…. Adjusting the VND while on P3 is difficult to read and rotate - they offer no hard stops or clicks between VND settings. Trying to adjust while on P3 resulted in a “gimbal error” several times being displayed on my P3. Bottom line, VND’s may work well on a full size camera but the P3 (which is great) just doesn’t mesh well with these thin VND’s - I recommend the Polar Pro Vivid collection which has ND 3, 5 and 7 all with CPL. The Polar Pro are thicker and will not allow gimbal to full close (not a problem) but are much easier to handle, adjust and put on and off. REVIEW UPDATE - K&F Concepts has contacted me and issued a full refund for my purchase without requiring the products return. In addition, K&F has requested that I remove my review. While, I do acknowledge K&F Concepts kind refund gesture, I continue to believe that my review is a fair and accurate summary of my experience, and have decide to leave posted. K&F Concepts has a long history of quality ND filters and this product is no exception, it is the ease of use which caused my issue. ... show more

Works fine, but.... I switched to the fixed NDs by K&F Concept. I found that the variable ND made parts of the sky darker like a polarizer would. I found the fixed NDs to not give that partially polarized sky problem. Also I found it difficult to adjust the amount, as it is so tiny.

Actually built thin enough that you can leave it magnetically attached all the time. Becareful though as it can be bumped off.
