These are known for sugar gliders getting nails caught and chewing their toe/foot off to escape!

Toys made of rope are not safe for gliders. The fibers can easily catch their tiny nails, causing foot issues. These issues are not to be taken lightly, as it can result in foot amputation or mutilation.
