Let's be honest, you and I did not come here for a set of high-end speakers. These speakers are budget friendly and get the job done. $22 for a pair of 6.5" speakers is a steal in today's audio marketplace. Replacing blown or buzzing OEM speakers with an economical set makes perfect sense. The speakers are clear and crisp, but not much bass. In my opinion, they play plenty loud enough without distortion. Have realistic expectations on your factory sound system, and you won't be disappointed. Replacing the front door speakers on my 2005 Silverado with the 6.5" units was a snap. I drilled 7/64" pilot holes and used the supplied screws to install the new speakers. Works perfectly. they fit perfect in 1st gen crv, in the rear you have to bend the tiny tabs that stick out the farthest, but the screw holes line up perfect. they sound good with my jvc kdt700bt head unit, not crazy loud but loud enough for someone who doesn't like there music blasting. The sound quality is good and balanced, not to sharp on the treble and vocals sound good through these speakers. Overall very happy with them for the price. The media could not be loaded. For the price, these things are great! Plenty of bass and sounds clean and loud. They do seem to have some distortion when playing extremely loud. Even after they are equalized. But only with good bass coming through. Would be the best budget option if you already have a sub. Good budget option all around ... show more

My speakers had finally given out in my 2015 Nissan Altima, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. It was between these, kenwood, and pioneer. I decided to go with these as they seem to be the best bang for your buck without jeopardizing quality. It was a great choice because installation was super easy, and the sound quality is amazing. Definitely a huge upgrade from the OEMs I was listening to before. They have a nice amount of bass that can be adjusted to your liking and the voice is crisp. I got these speakers pretty cheap, and they are perfect with 300 watt. Installing very easy and in 2017 Honda Civic. Good quality. Looks amazing even though they're hitting behind the door panel. They fit perfect. They function perfect they don't cut off. No distortion I can hear.
