I normally wear a size 12 regular width shoe. I have no feet anomalies that I know of and have for almost all my shoe purchases been able to comfortably wear normal things. Unfortunately, these just didn't work for me. Every time I took a step, the boot would fall off my heel and then clunk back when I stepped down. It was almost like wearing flip flops. That is also a very accurate descriptor of what the boots were doing, flip flopping. The quality and craftsmanship was impeccable however. I could tell that if this boot fit me comfortably, it would last forever. Also the color and texture of the leather was top notch. Sadly, however, I just couldn't wear these for work, it just wasn't going to happen. I didn't want to double up on thick hiking socks to make this happen as I work in the desert. ... show more

I was curious about these boots so I took the plunge, But when I wore them the first day they were very comfortable and not a bit heavy. On the second day a work mate noticed that the front part of the toe area the leather was separating from the sole not on the left boot but also from the right boot as well. I sent them back and I wrongly pressed the side were I wanted a replacement pair. Well I just received them and I will give you a new review as soon as possible. BOOTS OF THIS QUALITY AND BRAND SHOULD NOT FAIL SO SOON. If they fail again I will return for a full refund. ... show more

So bummed. I should have worn the boots indoors for a few days. They started off not so bad but two weeks after I started wearing them the width became too loose and now I have to wear two pairs of socks to wear them. They have been worn outside and have signs of wear so a return is out of the equation. Next time I will go to a boot store so I can get the right size. They are beautiful boots and I'm so pissed I can't wear them. Maybe some extra thick socks. ... show more

These boots are very comfortable out of the box! As good if not more comfy then my other " American Made" work boots ! Well constructed, great value... BUT.... The suckers run BIG! Listen to all the warnings about sizing! The boots run big! Justin even claims they run a half to a full size big! I should have returned them for half size smaller but wore them because I didn't want to wait for the return process... My fault!!! Looks like heavy socks for a long time in these boots because they look like they're gonna last ! Five plus stars all day if Justin would use an "American" ruler when sizing!!!! ... show more

This is my second pair of these boots, my first pair lasted me two years of daily wearing to work. The only reason I am rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a little too big even though they are the same size as my last pair.
