Bought this as refurbished so it was 1//3 the regular price. Clock is very pretty. It is cheaply made but for the discounted price it is a good value. Not sure it would be at full price. Bird sounds are just plain wrong. 12:00 is the great horned owl. There is no great horned owl sound on this clock at any time. Some of the other sounds don't match with the birds either. Sounds are also very soft. Some of them can barely be heard with your ear up against the clock. They are supposed to be softer when it is later in the evening. They are softer based on light. But in broad daylight, they should be louder, but the sound just isn't there. It's a little disappointing. ... show more

Bought this clock as a gift for a child who loves clocks and picked this out for themselves. The time peice works as it should. However the bird sounds do not stay matched with the time. Even with resetti g and new batteries it does not stay matched for a few days. Also the pendulum swings very fast and is noisy. I wish i would have purchased something that actually worked as it should. ... show more
