Well-packed. It took almost as long to unpack and organize parts as it did to assemble. The assembly instructions take some deductive reasoning (like attach “i” to both “O”s before attaching O to frame), but a slow, methodical approach made assembly fairly easy for a solo older women who is moderately handy. I left most screws fairly loose until the end. I used a wall once early on to help hold the parts until I could screw them together. I only had to disassemble one part and turn it 180 degrees at the end in order to get screw holes where they needed to be. Not too bad! So cute and easy to assemble. Feels sturdy! I would say maybe wear gloves when assembling or wipe it down good first bc i did get a few metal splinters that were hard to get out!

The bed is sturdy so I’m happy about that for the price it is! Directions are horrible! Parts are labeled wrong so took my husband forever and lots of frustration. Once built I love the look and design , packaging was good and no damage. I will say the screws on the back of the bed are horrible if you plan to push this up against a wall. So look into a protective pad or small protective item to help that not dig into the dry wall. Over all it’s good bed for price. ... show more

I had to take the whole thing down and apart in pieces to fit back into the small box it came in. Buy duck tape to keep it together to ship. It was heavy to lug around to post office. Door pick up went to wrong address. So I had to wait longer and then lug it off myself. Refund won’t be processed for almost 3 weeks. The bed was only 119.00. I almost just said forget it but I was already invested at this point. Awful purchase. Assembly was complicated and the main function of the bed was defective and unable to be used. Refund process was not good either. I had to take the whole thing down and apart in pieces to fit back into the small box it came in. Buy duck tape to keep it together to ship. It was heavy to lug around to post office. Door pick up went to wrong address. So I had to wait longer and then lug it off myself. Refund won’t be processed for almost 3 weeks. Putting the bed together was difficult. Lots of pieces and poor instructions. After putting the bed together I come to a halt bc the main part of the day bed was defective and would not work without it. Refund process was a nightmare. I had to disassemble the bed back into small parts and fit back into the box. Buy duck tape to hold it all together. Door pick up option didn’t work. Went to wrong address. Had to wait longer to cancel that and do a drop off return. Lugging that heavy thing around was a challenge by myself. It is a beautiful daybed and is very sturdy. Took two of us a couple of hours to assemble. Instructions could be better but were adequate. I do not know about it's longevity, I hope it lasts because I can recommend this daybed
