  • Great deal, extremely durable, flexible with moving joints
Style: SIOC/FFP Pattern Name: Figure Camp
My 5-year-old daughter is a huge Jurassic world fan. She knows all of the dinosaurs by name, and she constantly has battles between her dinos. I'm always a little bit worried before the purchase of each dinosaur because of how rough she can be with them, but this one holds up like a champion. Scorpius shows up in Jurassic world camp crustaceus and he/she is somewhat of a rare dinosaur in general so to get this for such a great deal it was a a huge surprise and my daughter was Ecstatic. One of the great things about him is how many different positions he can be placed in. He can stand up on two legs just as he can in the show, or he could be placed on all fours. This one also has flexible joints and the head assumes many different positions as well as the tail. While the actual body itself is a hard plastic, the arms and the tail or somewhat more of a rubber-like material which makes the durability even more excellent ... show more

  • More detailed version of the Scorpios Rex. Review contains show spoilers!!
Style: SIOC/FFP Pattern Name: Figure Camp
The media could not be loaded. I remember when the Tyrannosaurs Rex was the baddest dinosaur in the park. Here we have the latest of the Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous "villain" dinosaurs: the Scorpios Rex. Genetically created by Dr. Wu, it escapes in the third season of Camp Cretaceous, causing havoc along the way, until having to battle against another Scorpios Rex and Blue. Currently there are two Scorpios Rex toys released, and we have both of them. In my opinion, this one is the more detailed version. The one with Kenji doesn't do as much, and honestly I think it looks very plastic-y and cheap. This Scorpios has a neat black speckled color scheme, much like the Cryolophosaurus that was released recently. The underside is a lighter color that makes the black stand out more. This style dinosaur is a "Slash 'N Battle," model, which features two different buttons. The first button controls his roars and mouth. It seems like he has two different styles of roar that you can hear in the video I posted. The other button controls what I would verrrrrry loosely call the 'slash and grab' feature. I honestly think it looks like it is moving it's arms back and forth as a dance move. But who am I, y'know? Some dude. Anyway, it is compatible with the Jurassic World Scanner App - it features it's scanner code on the bottom of its left foot. They made this one a little more expensive than the standard medium sized dinosaurs, coming in right at the $25 mark. Overall, it's neat. I'm not super impressed with the Scorpios character in general. I realize they're portraying a juvenile, experimental dinosaur, but it's not really my speed. But that being said it's an odd looking dino and would fit nicely in a collection. ... show more

  • Nice weight to this one- feels slightly different.
Style: SIOC/FFP Pattern Name: Figure Camp
Well I never knew of this toy before my son who just turned 5 told me about it. I actually bought it before it dropped into this program I’m in. So I have 2 lol. Not knowing it would come here, but it’s ok since I know he has been rough with past JW toys which he has broken ( like indominus and his suchomimus both broke) Anyway, this dinosaur really feels different compared to the others we own. Has a nice weight to too. Kinda impressive, but it is ugly lol. Like this hybrid isn’t the best looking one out of all of them. Has a grotesque look. It does make noise and have a scanner on its foot. No collector card. Great addition to your growing collection. Satisfied so far. Hope it lasts. Will update if it doesn’t. ... show more
