For the past 5 years I have used similar collars that cost 4 times more than these. I needed to replace them because the battery life had greatly shortened. I bought one of these to try. It is a lighter duty than my old one but it works great. My labordoddles respond well to the tone and occasionally I use the vibration feature. Since the first week of training with the original units there has been no need to use the static shock. They ware the collars during the day when I let them outside and they come running to me as soon as the hear the tone. ... show more

I have just started using this device, but it seems to be of good quality. The buttons aren't mushy like on some things that have poor quality buttons. I charged it and it charged very quickly meaning it was charged before sending it to me. as the owner of two puppies, we’ve gone through a couple different collars. i think this is my favorite one what i like: the adjustability of the 3 options, the battery life, the effectiveness of the vibrate and sound - not having to go straight for shock what i don’t love: they’re relatively durable but not great. one of my dogs got a screw out of his collar. i ended up sewing it so it still works but i would’ve preferred the screws to have stayed put ... show more
