  • Life saver!
This has been a life saver for us. I have a Bassador (basset hound, yellow lab) that is LOUD and likes to just bark at anything and everything. We moved to a new house where our neighbors are close, yards are small and there’s an HOA. We could not figure out how to curb his barking and our vet suggested this collar. It was easy to train him with this and was effective immediately with great results writing a few weeks. We only use the vibration and beeping as the shock didn’t seem to phase him, but he hates the vibration. If he’s intensely barking at the neighbor dog through the fence, then it doesn’t really help, but that doesn’t happen often. The battery life is really good and we put it on when he goes outside and take it off when he comes in. It says not to leave it on for more than a certain length of time, maybe 12 hours? I’m not sure so definitely read the instructions. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. ... show more

  • Unsafe and Poor Quality – Two Collars Failed
I bought this Jugbow Dog Shock Collar on April 2 for my service animal’s sensor training, allowing him to safely enjoy off-leash time in less populated areas. It worked great at first, and he really depended on it. But by July, the ring volume weakened, and the buttons started working inconsistently, causing dangerous situations when he didn’t receive the proper signal. I bought a second collar at full price, hoping the first one was just defective, but the new one is now doing the exact same thing. That’s over $100 wasted, and it’s affected my service dog’s safety and training. I even recommended this collar to others before these issues began. Really disappointed — a product meant for safety and control should be reliable, not unpredictable. ... show more

  • The best of the best.
I purchased this training collar to assist with teaching my German Shepherd puppy. What a game changer. Although I dont believe in " shock Collars" this is the item for you to use with the other training settings. I utilize the sound as a warning and if his behavior is not corrected I utilize the vibrate . After a few initial uses he realizes the collar is on and adapts his behavior accordingly. Easy to charge, easy to apply. easy to set up. I highly recommend this collar as a tool in your training arsenal. Vibration: Strong non shock vibration Noise level: Loud and gets dogs attention. Charging ability: Simple charging with charger cord included. ... show more

  • It was a tough decision, but the best one I’ve made
So my dog is very lovable to those she know and is familiar with. and we have done trainings etc and for the most part we’ve found she’s just a reactive dog. I never wanted to buy one but she got out once and could have bitten a child. And if I have to pick between that or giving her a small vibration or little jolt to save her life and the child from trauma, I’m picking this collar every time. Dogs get put down now for biting and I’m not taking that risk! Battery life so far is fantastic. I haven’t charged but more than twice and I only use it when she is outdoors or on the porch as an extra safety method. It gives us peace of mind and I think she really doesn’t mind. She walks up to get it on prior to going out because she’s use to it. She is not afraid or fearful at all. I haven’t used the zapper, only the noises and the buzzing so far. I’ve tested the zap on myself and husband and on low level (2-6) it feels similar to a tens unit you would use on your muscles! So that was also comforting to know. Great value, easy to use, easy to charge, and the indicator light is also bright and very recognizable. Highly recommend. My pup has already gotten so much better on walks and just sitting on the porch with us. Put in the work though, don’t just buzz, dogs need redirection and training! ... show more

  • My dog and I love it
Use its all the time for my dog don’t really use the “shock” but the beep and vibrate work amazingly really love how easy it is to use and how you can have two dogs on one remote

  • Great Collar/Training Aid!
This is a great system to help assist in training your puppy/dog. It seems high quality, was quick and easy to charge and has a impressively long battery life. Life. We have had the product for over 2 months and have only charged the remote once and the collar twice. It has an audio notification, a vibration and shocking option. Each setting can be adjusted from light to heavy. The remote activates the collar from far away, we live on 4 acres and have had no issues with connectivity. ... show more

  • Not great for fearful dogs
As far as functionality, I think it’s a great E-collar, but if your dog is fearful of new things, I don’t think this is the way to go. We have a 63 pound 2 year old Australian Shepherd who can be reactive on leash so we were hoping this could help. We watched videos on how to introduce your dog to an e-collar and the moment I brought it out, our dog ran away from me lol. (Don’t worry, we were in our house.) I hadn’t even turned it on yet, it felt like she had been exposed to one before…. But we never ever used one before and we’ve had her since 8 weeks. First we tried the sound option and she was totally freaked out by it. Then we tried the vibrate option thinking maybe that would be less scary, which was better but she already decided she was scared of the collar. So we’ve never tried the shock except on ourselves to test it out and level one was enough to freak me out haha. I still plan to work with her to not be so scared of the sound and vibrate options. I tried throwing it around like a toy in the backyard and playing the sound to desensitize her from it which seemed to help a little, but I think it will take some time. Anyway, the TLDR is that if your dog tends to be scared of new things and you don’t have the time or patience to help them get comfortable with the collar, I’d try something else. ... show more
