I ordered the JSB 3 Tier Metal Bookshelf to display part of my toy collection, but it did not fit where I was hoping to put it. A bit disappointed, I was unsure what I was going to do with it until I realized later that it was sturdy enough to get my fan off the floor in my bedroom and make air circulate a bit better. Once I put the fan on the top shelf and was surprised by the nearly perfect fit, I felt toys weren't the way to go and moved some of my art around. I love the size and design, it doesn't take up much space, was pretty easy to put together (even easier if you follow instructions/diagrams better than me), and I love the way it changed my bedroom. The shelf isn't too big, which is perfect for my office - it doesn't take over the room but still offers plenty of storage space. The black color and design have received lots of compliments from people visiting my office. Of course, how much you like it might depend on your room's color scheme and how you decorate the shelves. This came with NO instructions other than a few unhelpful pictures. It did not assemble as the photos showed, either. I expected it to be open in the front for both sections, but one section opens in the back and the other opens in the front. How would one use this thing? You can't put it against a wall because then you can't use one whole shelf. My husband even looked at it to see if I did anything wrong and nope, pretty big design flaw. We threw it out.
