  • Great Steam Deck dock.
Color: Gray
This works very well with the Steam Deck. My only cautionary advice is this: when hooked up to the charger that comes with it, the Deck doesn’t quite charge all the way. It provides a total of 45 watts to the device, but this dock WILL bleed some of that off. For example, if the dock is needing 15 watts to do what you’re asking, that will only leave 30 watts to power your Steam Deck. I suggest looking at a more powerful charger for this dock. That is a charger issue, NOT this dock. I HIGHLY recommend! ... show more

  • No 30W for ROG Ally
Color: Gray
It says that it supports 30W turbo with the ROG ally. I have used power supplies at or above 100W like they said I would need to for the 30W mode, but it doesn't work at all in any scenario I could achieve. However it is still a great product and does literally everything else just fine, if not well even. I don't really need the extra 5 watts of power, but it is annoying. ... show more

  • Stopped Working After 3 Months of Light Use
Color: Gray
Edit: Customer service was super great and let me trade in for a new one which has lasted almost a year now with no problems. Great accessory. I really liked this dock- I basically just needed a way to output my display to a monitor and charge at the same time. However, after just 3 months of light use it has suddenly stopped being recognized by my Steam Deck. It started with USB devices not working when connected, then the HDMI output stopped working, and then the pass-through charging failed. Now the dock isn't recognized at all by the Steam Deck. I'm no stranger to hardware troubleshooting, and so I've tried different power supplies, devices, restarting affected devices, and plugging devices into the dock without anything else plugged in. Nothing has gotten it to start working again. It's become a $30 paperweight. All in all, this is a great dock while it works. For $30 - $40 though, I would have hoped it would have lasted for more than three months of light use. ... show more

  • So far it is great
Color: Gray
I have tried two very expensive docks and both failed to work properly with the steam deck. This was my hail mary so to speak and I am so glad it seems to be working perfectly! The stand portion of the dock is sturdy and feel well built. It has non-slip pads on the bottom that do exactly as you'd expect them to. It also has a non-slip pad where the dock rests which seems like it could also add an anti scratch aspect to it. I have a silicone cover on my deck and I have no issues placing it in the dock. Now for the good parts, the usb-c L bend cable. It just works and feels well built. I would have preferred if it could be un-plugged from the dock to protect it better, but it ain't a major issues. The ports on the dock are snug and perform as promised. It is light weight making it good for travel and seem rugged enough to be bounced around without damaging. (usb-c cable being the only concern that it could be bent and possibly smashed/damaged.) The dock doesn't block the breathing vent on the back of the system. A major bonus is that the dock can use the steam decks power cord and seems to work without fault. I am not sure how much overhead that leaves for power demanding usb devices, but for self powered or low power pluggables it seems fantastic. Things like regular usb drives have no issue plugging and playing. Overall I am extremely glad I found this dock and even more glad it isn't insanely expensive. My 300 dollar dock that does everything you could ever ask for didn't like the steam deck and I doubt it ever will. So for a 40 dollar fix sign me up! ... show more

  • It works but interfereswith HDMI ARC and ETHERNET IS SLOW
Color: Gray
This thing is great if you are looking for an inexpensive dock that just works. However The wired internet speed seems to cap at 50mbps down. On wifi I can pull 500+ without issue. The internet is stable at that speed, but it isn't exactly highway speeds. If ethernet is not important to you, and you do not use HDMI ARC for sound on your TV, this really isa no-brainer buy ... show more

  • Great budget alternative to official Steam Deck dock
Color: Gray
This is, as far as I can tell, the best budget alternative to the official dock. It's lightweight, easy to set up and travel with, and it works perfectly well as a home dock for my tv. Two nitpicks to consider: the steam deck rear vents (for the LCD model, anyway) overlap with the dock when centered (see picture), so you need to dock the deck slightly off center. Also, the drawback to being lightweight is that it could feel cheap, though the dock has traveled with me a lot, so build quality is not a concern to me. ... show more
