    • Dissatisfied we had to use hotels on rainy nights and hole required both of us to set up.
Road trip camping to, California and Arizona and Washington. Zipper on storage tent bag broke and the main pole ripped a whole in the middle of the pole positioning slot tube fabric. Also tent leaked when it rained. Amazon contacted the manufacturer and they were very concerned and helpful. They even replaced the tent and called to make sure I was satisfied. Even with the problems we had I was pleased with the way it looked and I bought an actual rainfly that hopefully will give me more insurance that I won’t have to try to sleep with a half wet sleeping bag. I will definitely suggest that new purchasers test the tent before major trips. We practiced setting it up but didn’t have time to take a small trip before embarking on our major trip of the summer. Better than expected. After watching videos and seeing some reviews I was a little concerned. Didn't open the box until we arrived at our campsite. Didn't even look at the instructions, set up was that easy. Maybe 15 minutes. Attached perfectly to my 2018 Jeep Compass. Even backing in at night, alignment was easy. Couldn't be happier with the price and the quality. It didn't rain during use but I will be spraying a waterproofing on it just to be safe. I did use a tarp underneath as always should be done under a tent. Lightweight and rolled up easily to fit back in the bag 👍👍👍 Now using this on my Ram 1500 Love this thing. It should work on most pickups with caps, even tonneau covers if you like sleeping in tighter spaces. ... show more

Very quick and easy to set up. This tent makes car camping 100% more comfortable! It gives you additional space when you need it for changing and provides extra sleeping space if traveling with children and pets. We did notice some tearing where the poles go through after the third camping trip. Nothing major but one of the reasons why I only gave it 4 stars. Drove Route 66 with this, Nissan rogue and mom…it was perfect! Took a couple of set ups to figure out the tricks…I suggest practicing at home before heading out…held up great!!

Poles are too long and do not bend well enough to get into the pockets. Did not seem like it would be able to stand on its own if taken off the car. Returned.

We have set this tent up six times since purchasing using it in conjunction with our Tacoma that has a low profile shell. For the price, it has performed as expected with the exception of the sleeves where the shock poles go through are wearing through in several spots. I'm sure that after a couple more uses we're going to have to repair them if we intend to keep using this tent. The size and layout of the tent are perfect for our intentions and we have weathered rain, snow and high winds across Arizona, Utah and Idaho with this first run. We were hoping to get at least two/three years use out of it, but it may only make it through this year. ... show more

I love the ease of setting up. Takes no time at all and it’s so fun to have on the back of the car! Plenty of space for two people to move around comfortably. We purchased this product specifically for a cross country National Park trip. This tent was a TROOPER! While we have been away we have faced major windstorms in both the Tetons and Zion (with our items inside of course) this tent didn’t budge. The set up is insanely easy and we are down to about 20 min. Set up maximum. 3 total poles and the tent is all you need for this powerhouse. Why spend twice the price on something half as good? Save yourself the money and trouble and pick up this tent and make sure to seal it up with outdoor tent waterproofing just incase!
