I love the reflective stitching. Our dogs are black and grey and hard to see at night. We watch them closely when we let them out at night as we have coyotes, possum, racoon and owls in the neighborhood. The reflective stitching allows us to see them with our flashlights. We also walk in the dark. The leashes are great too. Very reflective and well made. Very nicely adjustable. I bought several in different colors. We had to board our little yorkie and needed a stand alone collar (he uses harnesses mostly.) Aside from having to duplicate all of his vaccination records and such this collar made things much easier for us. The collar is sturdy enough to actually be used in conjunction with a leash, and some nice bits afterwards that we noticed was the soft grip lining on the inside of the collar for the pup's comfort and to minimize movement. We also appreciated the wide strap and ability to size down to a small yorkie sized neck. The collar also has reflective elements built in that are not cheap or tacky. One element I wish was improved would be a small type loop or connection option other than the D ring for the vaccination tags. The tags don't need much to attach to, but the D ring where the leash goes isn't the appropriate location in my mind. A minor inconvenience in the scheme of things. Overall - very satisfied with this purchase as opposed to going to a local PetSmart or similar because this is a better product than you'd find there. ... show more

The collar is well made. I was aware that the padding wouldn’t be of much use as it only goes around the interior of collar part way. The smaller you make the collar the less of the padding. My little guy graduated from a cat collar to this. It doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s 9lbs. A secure collar where real training can now begin. Would recommend and the price is good for the quality.
