This was very easy to put together. Honestly it's a fairly well made bike, especially considering the price. The brakes are a little finicky to adjust. They keep tracking to one side, offering resistance as you ride. There is a set screw to adjust this out, but it's difficult to perfectly center the brakes. As they ride now, I basically got them "good enough." They aren't perfectly centered, but the offer no real resistance to riding until my daughter actually used the brakes. Also, you can adjust the seat down but it affects the travel of the rear shock absorber. This will be less an issue as my daughter grows and I can raise the seat. Spent over an hour putting thus together as a gift for a child. The last piece to put on was striped and the pedals couldn't be attached. Was always chipped. For this price we shouldn't have had any issues
