The media could not be loaded. In this journal, or notebook, I like that it has NO date areas at the tops of the pages. I like that it has a pocket in the back to keep receipts, ticket stubs, pressed flowers, or any small sentiment that goes along with the written pages. I discovered the stickers in the back pocket that are for the spine and cover so you can keep these on a shelf, like the matriarch and patriarch of families of old did, to detail the life of the family for that generation. The pages are thick enough to use a calligraphy pen for writing with no bleeding through to another page. The paper is smooth with a fine tooth to it. There are two matching bookmarks that are attached within the binding so areas of the book may be marked off. The book is exactly as described, and would make a nice gift for anyone who writes. It would even make a nice notebook for anyone in secondary or post-secondary school. Because the pages are NOT perforated for tearing out, you cannot easily remove paper. Consequently, you cannot give paper away without ruining your book. I don't see the lack of perforations as a flaw or a dislike, but it is something this book does NOT offer. ... show more

The book is nice, however, wrapping a soft leather like covered book in plastic to be shipped on a dirty ups truck is not a good packing concept. Put it in an envelope at least. The thin plastic of course ripped and the cover of the book feels dirty.
