I took om the crazy task of stripping the paint off of my kitchen cabinet doors. The previous hardware had poor placement of drill holes, so I drilled again, and filled with small wood plugs, but needed clamps to install plugs in front and back. I like these a lot. Easy to adjust, sturdy, good clamping force, and they look nice. A little bit pricey, but still an excellent value for the money. Would definitely buy again.

    • Clamps work better than expected
I found the clamps to be very strong and easy to use. On a recent restoration project to replace the glass in all my windows, I was using my hands to press in the new retaining beading to hold the glass. My thumbs were so sore after squeezing so hard to seat the beading by hand. The clamps made the task so much easier and were the right tool for the job. The pads on the clamps protected the newly refinished wood frames without damaging or scratching the finish. They are a must have for many jobs around my woodworking shop. ... show more

Clamps seem like they are fairly good quality. Nice to have the option to flip the end around and put two together and have double the length. Only complaint is that when put together, they don't seem near as solid. Would be nice if they clipped together tighter to make the gripping force nearly the same as they are along.     • Best Clamps Ever
I've got some dewalts and kobalts that cry when they see me use these. The versatility, the strength, and this one little feature I didn't realize I'd love the most: rubber clamp heads. Why is that a useful feature, you might ask? Well, for most wood workers who deal with angles...you tend to have a hard time clamping a 45 degree angle to a flat surface. Since the heads of the clamp are rubber, that flex to the surface. Use-case: I had a slab of cedar that I made a river table out of, then cut it into a triangle, using the center as a corner vanity for my wife and the 2 smaller triangles for shelves. I, like an idiot, dropped one of the shelves and it broke along the grain of the wood. To glue that back together, I was thinking I had to build a "jig" of sorts to allow me to clamp the hypotenuse side to a flat surface. Any way I turned it, there was an angle that I'd need to build something to allow the clamp to hold it properly. Then these clamps came to mind, as I had gotten them as a present. I threw it on there, clamped down, and the rubber head just conformed enough to the angle to create the pressure I needed to set the glue tight. I've also found having the ability to take off one side of the clamp as a game-changer for my sanding table, which has cut outs for clamping. Taking the small side off is super easy to change slots on the table for varying angles. They are super well made with some hidden gems like those rubber heads. I've now gotten 2 sets of these, and will probably get more to replace my old ones. ... show more

As a professional remodeling contractor I can't believe it took me so long to stumble upon these quality clamps. After trying/owning several different makes of this style clamp (DeWalt, Irwin, Quick-Clamp, Wolfcraft) the phrase "you get what you pay for" springs to mind. Sure these are a little pricey but the quality and ease of use is head and shoulders above the rest, and it's important to have tools that be relied upon without complication or complaint when in the thick of a frustrating remodel. Just wish I hadn't bought the 2 pack when this morning I realized a 4 pack is only $1.50 more, which sucks but no fault of the tool. The 3/4" shaft fits perfectly in benches with 3/4" bench dog holes. Squeeze handles and release lever are the most ergonomic I've found. Reversible end removes and and reinstalls with ease and confidence. 300 pound clamping pressure from a squeeze clamp is best in class, and it's obvious this tool is built to handle it. Lock together feature on the clamps I received needed a little spray lube and some dead blow "persuasion" to put together and take apart but I don't anticipate using that function a lot even though it does appear to work well and is very innovative. This is NOT a light duty 6" clamp, in fact the only caution I'd relay to prospective buyers is these heavy duty clamps are bulky and may just be too large or overkill for more delicate applications. Expect a tool that can take some serious job site abuse and keep on smiling. As others have said, I highly recommend. ... show more
