I've played on and off for around 2 years and finally really started playing a lot back in January, and I'd say this paddle has been the single greatest improvement to my game since i realized you didn't have to let the ball bounce. At first it seems pricey, but you pay for what you get, only critique I would have is the grip, but just buy a new one for like $10. This is a must buy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had to get this paddle replaced three times by JOOLA. Which is super inconvenient. It’s a great paddle at first. But the grit starts to wear off pretty fast and most importantly it delaminates, the edges come off after about 2 to 3 months. The warranty only last six months and then JOOLA will not give you a Replacement paddle. It is pretty annoying that this thing cost $250 and can’t at least last me more than three months without something going wrong. ... show more

I tried a few paddles but kept this one. It’s a nice weight, great grip , feel , power and spin . The spin is the most noticeable. That extra added spin can really help and especially on my serves. Definitely worth my money .

I recently upgraded my pickleball paddle to the Perseus and it has completely transformed my game. This paddle strikes an impeccable balance between power, spin, and control, offering an exceptional playing experience. The Charged Surface Technology is a game-changer, providing just the right amount of grip for spin without compromising control. I previously experimented with the Scorpeus 16, and while it had its merits, the poppy nature of the paddle didn't quite suit my playing style. I found myself struggling to adjust and frequently hitting the net during dinking exchanges. In contrast, the Perseus offers a more forgiving and versatile performance. What sets the Perseus apart is its ability to enhance my game without demanding excessive power. The paddle feels responsive, allowing me to execute precise shots with confidence. Whether I'm serving, smashing, or engaged in a close net rally, the Perseus consistently delivers. I also added a Tourna overgrip to the Perseus, and it definitely elevated the grip on the paddle. This combination not only feels comfortable but also provides a secure hold during intense rallies. Not to mention, I sweat like a beast, but the anti-sweat tech is unbelievable.
