Description

The Jonard Tools WTL-12 wall box template and level is designed specifically for cutting out single and double gang old work boxes. The wall template leveler is perfect for ensuring the boxes are level every time. This wall template level features the following: built-in levels assist in positioning the template perfectly, wide protective rubber strips hold the template in place and prevent scratching the wall, works with Carlon B114R & B12R single gang boxes, Carlon B225R double gang boxes, Carlon SC100RR low voltage plates, Arlington Industries LVL1 and LVL2 boxes, and many other brands of single and double gang boxes, and screw holes added to hold it in place for hands-free use. Single gang cutout dimensions: 2 1/4” x 3 5/8”, double gang cutout dimensions: 4” x 3 5/8”.

    • Handy tool for installing cut-in boxes.
Got this to assist in the installation of cut-in electrical boxes. Having built-in levels makes it a "one tool" for the job, thus, easier and much faster than having to use a torpedo level and tape measure. I like that you can do both single and double gang boxes too, which are the most common. As far as value for the money, I think it could be a little cheaper being it's made out of plastic.     • Wow! So Helpful and Easier To Use Than Traditional Method!
This product is perfect for 1 or 2 gang cutout marking. Some boxes you can use the box itself to mark the cutout, but no level so you have to maneuver a level with it and hope you hold it steady while you trace it. This makes it so easy because the level is on it already so you just put it on the wall, level-it, and trace it. Perfect cutout every time. On low-voltage boxes I realized there are 4 small holes that you're supposed to use and then connect the 4 dots with a straight edge. I found this to be difficult and doesn't come out very well. This one template will save you much time. I had one by EZ Cut brand that was more expensive. This one works just as well. The fluorescent blue color makes it easy to find amongst my other tools. I modified it to find L/R center, for my own convenience. (With pen) Plastic has been holding up well after about 20/30 cuts. I would highly recommend for single/double gain cut ins of Low or High Voltage boxes. ... show more

If you’d like to do a professional job and like to keep things neat and tidy as possible, this little tool is the answer for that. It enables me to keep my cuts for wall sockets exact, and as quick and easy to use. Line up the bubbles mark it and then cut it out. And it’s so small.
