I use this cologne as a female as have received many complements by men. Its good enough for both genders to wear. It gives me a sense of power when i wear it because i feel like a boss lol. I decided to buy this cologne on impulse and I am not disappointed. First off the presentation is great, it comes in an opaque cloudy white flask with white wicker imperfectly weaved around it, really living up to its name "Artisan." The scent itself is great. It has a strong lemon scent with citrus leaves and musky and woody undertones. It smells good when you first apply it, but it starts to smell even better after it dries, the citric scents become more nuanced (though still prevalent) and the woody and orange blossom scents become a bit more noticeable. The one complaint I have is that it doesn't last very long; it's usually gone after about three hours so you might want to invest in a travel sprayer if you'd like to reapply later on when you're away from home. Overall, it's a great summer cologne that I'd definitely recommend to anyone. ... show more

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the scent doesn't last as long as most of my other scents last that cost about the same. The smell is very fresh though and not overpowering.
