Compared to the vast array of chemicals you have to put on your head to style your hair, now there is a safe version. This stuff has a crazy hold and a little goes a long way.

    • Excellent natural hair product
This is not going to be for everyone but I love it and is a great addition to the hair products I use regularly now. Especially because it’s very hard to find good natural hair products. I would actually give it a 4.5 stars if I could. It’s nearly 5 star but it takes a little bit extra to learn what you can and can’t really do with it. For me it allows me to get some texture and strategic hold that either lets me achieve some extra volume or use it to flatten out a bit that’s being unruly. Because it’s matte, it doesn’t look like I have a bunch of product in my hair. Great for a polished updo, taming side flyaways. And it’s not greasy. Texture and workability is closer to a wax but it’s also different because rubbing it between your palms distributes it but dries it out more quickly. It’s very different from anything else I’ve ever used. For the people who say it makes their hair feel dirty - yeah kinda. But like in a dry shampoo kind of way. And for what I want to accomplish I’m fine with that. If I used more than I do it might be gross. A little goes a long way here. I have medium long hair that curls a medium small curl when air dried (beachy hair) but I can also easily straighten my hair with an iron. Just not stick straight. Medium volume that can turn thin looking with the wrong products. I think it could probably be used in different ways in different hair types but I don’t think every person or hair type will fall in love. And that’s ok. ... show more

I use a thumbnail amount right when I get out of the shower. I have a pixie cut. I shape my hair wet with the product. Sometimes I leave it with a bit of a wet look, but often, when it dries, I shape it again (no extra product) for a drier look. Either way, it works great. It helps separate for whispy bangs too. What I like about this product is that it holds your style with just a small amount product. What I dislike about it is that I can barely get a brush through my hair, it holds so well. So use sparingly.

Great product that is a mild to medium hold, organic, almost no smell, all natural and great for adding texture to a variety of hair styles . I do recommend adding 2 or 3 drops of argan oil on your hair if it tends to look dry like mine since i blow dry it almost everyday. Then add this product. Lastly, I decided to subtract 1 star because the plastic jar the product is in had a lot of little scratches and looked a little beat-up like it had been dropped or shuffled around in someone's store or storage facility. It also made me wonder if this product had been on their shelf for years and therefore I am not getting a newly made and fresh product. ... show more

    • Nice Hold - Matte Is Perfect
This is good paste. I am putting more natural and organic things in my life, and I decided to start using hair products that are more natural/organic. There is no going back as my hair is much better now than it was when I used harsh shampoos and product. I find that I have to use a little more than I'm accustomed, but that's a small point.
