  • This Is What You Want
I'm not sure how I have lived without this all these years. After finally becoming frustrated with the 6 or 7 tire gauges I have laying around (none of which seem to agree with the others or read the same way twice), I finally decided to buy myself a professional tire gauge. This thing is an absolute gem. The dial is clear and easy to read--even in the dark (it has a glow in the dark face). The gauge is calibrated and the measurements are always correct and consistent. Every. Single. Time. The chuck seals easily and maintains its seal until you intentionally release it. The gauge comes with a button to release air from the tire while holding the chuck in place and it is very easy to release just the right amount of air to get the exact pressure you want. There's really no need to pay for the feature that locks in the reading. This one actually makes it easier to get the precision fill you are looking for. I usually just overinflate the tire by a couple of pounds and use the button to bring the pressure down to the desired level. Also, there are no electronics or batteries involved to let you down when you are least expecting it. This thing is built like a tank and will work every time you pick it up. You will not go wrong buying this. Not only is this by far the best tire pressure gauge I have ever purchased--it is actually one of the best tools I have purchased, period. I love it. I'm going to buy some for gifts. ... show more

  • Nice quality pressure gauge!
I was looking for a pressure gauge that would give accurate readings with quality build that should last a while. The $10 circular gauges haven't proved to be so accurate, and are sensitive to damage if dropped etc. This heavy duty gauge gives very reproducible results and appears to have pretty robust construction (though I still avoid dropping on cement floor). One feature it lacks is holding the pressure reading after detaching from the stem valve. I wasn't sure if I would miss that, but given the length of hose on the gauge it's easy to read the pressure while engaged, and I haven't been bothered by lack of pressure holding at all. ... show more

  • Accurate, consistent, well made
This is the most accurate gauge I have ever used. With the pressure relief button on the side of the unit, you can release just the right amount of air to get the tire pressure exactly where you want it. After filling several tires and going back to tire one, the gauge still reads exactly how it did the first time...every time. This thing is dead accurate and consistent. Measures in one PSI increments up to 60 PSI. Toss all those old pen shaped gauges in the trash and get this one. ... show more

  • works well... made in Taiwan
Product works well. Slightly disappointed that reviews stated made in USA but gauge states 'made in Taiwan' on the back

  • Great Gauge and Not Made in China
First off, it's a pleasure to use. The rubber surround at the air inlet tip keeps the nozzle centered and snug on the tire valve. The push-button below the gauge to release air works well in quick presses for sneaking up on a precise setting. The dial is easy to read and gives repeatable measurements on the same tire (my last one didn't do that). It has a solid feel to it and the generous rubber covering all around is easy to hold. Everything about this gauge says, "We know what you don't like and you won't see any of it here." Finally, it's made in Taiwan. What more could you ask for? ... show more

  • Great Quality & Made in the USA
Outstanding tire gauge!! I've used others, but none are close to this one. Attention*** Very easy to read and spot on accurate! Letting the excess air out of the time is really fast.

  • Very Well Made and Accurate
This gauge works great and is very accurate. I have compared it to several other gauges. I would buy it again. My only recommendation for purchasers is to be aware that you cannot go over pressure by "even one pound" per the directions that came with the gauge. I purchased the 60-pound version. If I had known this in advance I would have opted for the higher-pressure version. One of the things I wanted to do with it was to measure the air pressure in my spare tire, which is supposed to be filled to 60 pounds. Also, note that the gauge does NOT hold the pressure you read until you depress the air release button. While some gauges do have this feature, this gauge is so easy to read that you do not need this feature. On this gauge, the button is used to release air from your tire while the gauge is connected if you have overfilled the tire. I find this feature very handy. I just over-pressurize the tire on purpose, then use the button to bleed air until I get down to 32 pounds. This way I don’t have to take multiple readings when I try to get the tire up to pressure. Fill the tire overpressure, connect the gauge, push the button until I get down to 32 pounds, and DONE! Easy-peasy. ... show more
